I recently purchased a Hardtail 29er Carbon Fiber Mountain Bike from Travis Cycle in Brockton. I could not be happier with the value for my $$ that I received. Mark who owns the shop was incredibly knowledgeable about the industry and fitting me. He not only gave me a great deal but also spent time fitting me and answering all my questions. I was buying my first road bike, and I checked out some top rated spots around boston which were good, but I just wasn’t ready to buy. My fiancé told me about this spot, and she bought her cycling shoes from them.
I went in and Mark took the time to find out what I was looking to do on the bike, my budget, etc. He took the time, after we checked out a few bikes, to let me ride and take my time. He even had me on a trainer set up and professionally fit me and then had me ride again. I left blown away with the level of service. I returned a couple days later to buy the bike and he had me ride again, and fit me again. Went over the features thoroughly at delivery, gave some tips and invited me on the local ride 2 times a week.
He also put together a great package deal on pedals, shoes and cleats installed at delivery. One year free adjustments and already took advantage of this once, but it was more user error than adjustment.
This place is great, I see myself doing all my business here. Great family owned shop, personal treatment and Mark is awesome.
