Wizards Duel

The Wizard’s Duel is Brockton’s première game shop for fans of all trading card, board and role playing games. It is located across the street from Brockton Hospital.
They have tournaments for different card and board games daily, including Yu-​Gi-​Oh five days a week (Wedneday-​Sunday) as well as «Sneak Peek» and «Pre-​Release» events for Yu-​Gi-​Oh and Magic The Gathering, respectively.
The collection of single cards for sale for Magic The Gathering, Yu-​Gi-​Oh, and other popular trading card games is unmatched anywhere else in Massachusetts. If you’re looking for a certain card, chances are, they currently have it, or will get it soon. Prices are fair, and cards are always in good condition.
No outside food or drinks are allowed inside the store, and this rule is strictly enforced. That’s because up at the counter, you can buy Hot Pockets, french bread pizzas, candy, ice cream, pudding, chips, cookies, soda and other snacks. Just more money for the store.
Parking at this location is very limited. There is a small parking lot, and several spots on the street further up. However, the owner gets annoyed if you park blocking the driveway, or block people from getting out of the lot. Many people either walk here, or get dropped off to avoid a problem.
All in all, it’s a great place for gamers, or people who want to get into playing games. Be aware they keep a cat on premesis as a pet/​greeter. Big, fluffy, orange and white cat named Urza. Very friendly. Just in case you are allergic.
