I am an All American member from the 90’s who got grandfathered into 10 Gym when they bought out All Anerican. That is the ONLY reason I still go there. Several times a year, they do promotions to bring in lots of new, unsuspecting members who actually think you can get a gym membership for $ 10 a month. That makes the gym ridiculously crowded for weeks and weeks. Finally, the newbies give up and us regulars can get back to working out without waiting in line. The owners and management of 10 Gym are obviously all about the money, and care nothing about customer experience. My advice to potential new members: Read the other reviews, and steer clear of 10 Gym.

Good for the price. Every time I go it is very crowded hard to get the machine or weights you want. Haven’t tried any classes yet. Some equipment is really dirty. Employees are usually decent, the only time they are super customer service oriented is when someone is signing up for a membership. I am Irritated that even though I am 24 years old and live at the same residence as my 16 year old brother, they still wouldn’t let him be my guest. I have never had this issue anywhere else as long as I was over 21 and I have signed waivers for him before. I asked if our mother came up and signed a waiver, if he could then come with me and she said«maybe.» So I guess we will call later and see if someone can give us a «yes» or «no» answer.

I’ve been a member for 5+ years the management is great always nice and helpful. The equipment and stuff started to get old, so they updated not only the equipment but everything got a refreshing look to it. It’s great they see a problem and fix it! You can even bring a friend every time of you wanted to. It’s nice to let your friends and family try it out before they sign up. Since going I had gotten my mom, sister, aunt and a couple friends to sign up. It’s a really good price for what you get. They even have child care. The classes were my FAVORITE! So many choices and great for beginners that haven’t done some of the classes they offer to go. Zumba was the funnest class cause you sweat and have fun at the same time. When you think of 10Gym you don’t think about it like Golds gym(typical meat head gym) or Planet fitness(Can’t wear certain clothes can’t hardly make any noise). You’ll feel comfortable and love going every time! The manager Brett is such a good friendly guy, he seemed to always be there. Which is what a manager should do. I’ve had to move to California cause my husband got stationed here for the Navy, but we will be back one day when we get to move back home.

I have gone to this gym for over 14 years of my life, back when it was All American to now 10GYM. They have great equipment, a steam room, a pool, a jacuzzi, inside racquetball courts, private personal training lessons, personal tvs on some treadmills, and great locker rooms. It’s a «no pressure» gym where you can be comfortable in your own skin. They have a very helpful and well-trained staff who are more than happy to assist you on whatever your goals may be! I personally enjoy their zumba and yoga classes! My mom and I have been going to these classes for 8 years now and we love it! I love this gym and I love all of the friends I have made here in the process!

When I was in High School, I won a membership to the All American that this place used to be. It was the first gym I had really frequented, so there wasn’t much of a bar to compare it to. I would go swimming, steam and occasionally lift weights. Years later, I’ve returned to this spot, now made over into 10 Gym. Upon first going in, there was a specific deal I had heard of which didn’t lock you into a contract(I know: almost impossible with gyms). In the end, I was paying double what was advertised but thought… Hey. Maybe this is worth it… I was wrong. It had been about a decade since I’d been to this gym and it felt like there was nothing new. It also seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The pool was disgusting and the locker room was horribly… just gross(to spare the reader). But the real kicker was the service. I sometimes felt I was in Berlin during the Cold War… Being told I couldn’t use the pool on my first visit, as the day had been set aside for a certain group. The next time I visited, the pool was only for those from the previous All American days. I brought a guest(as I was told I could under my non-contract contract) and they were treated worse than a passenger being screened by the TSA. Most awkwardly, I was asked not to use some of the workout equipment once because a Zumba class was in session(which I still don’t understand). Ultimately, I was fed up and opted to cancel my membership. I was told I could not cancel because of policies. I asked to see where I had signed anything agreeing to not being able to cancel. After a bit, they basically tried to say the person who enrolled me must have made a mistake and that I now needed to sign a new contract. They literally had the nerve to bring me a pen! Of course, I maintained I wanted to cancel. They gave me a phone number which led to an email which eventually led to cancellation. Horrible business with horrible practices. If the gym were even passable and clean, I might understand… But this place is a TRAP.

I have to say I was very pleased with the both the atmosphere and the way I was greeted by the front desk staff and then the management, I believe his name was Brett or Billy, I remember he had a professional image with a rather large coif of hair. I got an excellent tour and detailed layout of everything, along with the classes included in each type of membership. I never felt pushed or strong armed about anything. I was surprised overall and joined up with ease. I’m looking forward to seeing the other locations!

Not a fan, period. In a nutshell, it is just a poorly made over All American. If you’re still reading I will elaborate some: management is still the same. Arrogant, snotty, watch your every single move. Some of the tactics are sophomoric. If you go as a guest or just want to try before you buy, don’t even think about going to the pool area or participate in group fitness or the membership police will come after you and make you sign up or leave. The place is overcrowded and dirty. The group fitness is in an open area free for all to watch. The indoor walk/jog track makes you feel like you’re running a tight circle and every piece of equipment is taken. Always. They have a month-to-month option or a 12-month option that allows one to participate in group fitness, tanning and swimming. If you’re looking to join a gym for cheap, there’s one a few miles north that promises you a judgement-free zone(much cleaner and easier to maneuver). If you still plan on joining after reading these reviews, you have my best wishes.

I actually like this gym, it’s peaceful and easy to move around. It has all the things I was looking for even child care.

My experience with this gym has been good and bad. I recently joined this gym because I had a lot of people I knew that went to it. I joined the gym in early September and was very hesitant because I’ve never joined one before and wasn’t sure if it was a good thing to do. Well regardless I joined and a couple of weeks later and then we had to move because my husband received a job offer out of state. I tried calling to see if they had other options or affiliating gyms where I was moving too and they told me they were only located in Oklahoma. I asked the person I spoke with if there was a cancellation fee and was told that there was a $ 79.99 cancellation fee. Of course I should have read reviews and the contract(in depth) first but I didn’t and now it’s either pay the $ 79.99 or they just keep pulling $ 22 every month from my bank account. I tried calling the Vice President of the company two days in a row now and still no response. I called and spoke to the manager at this location and she just kept telling me pretty much«sorry, you signed the contract». I asked if she could do anything for the fact that this was an unforseen move but I kept getting the«oh well» response. Let’s just say this will be the first and last gym I join for now. It will be VERY hard to trust these places that say they are«NOCONTRACT». Please BEAWARE of the gimmicks before you sign something and join. Lesson Learned.
