Oh yes. Sweet beautiful Coney Islander. The best Coney I’ve ever had. It’s the best. Its essentially fast food but, the best fast food you can ever find. The only downside is you’ll want to eat your hands because they’ll smell so good after you eat.

It had been years since I had been back to the Tulsa area. One of my fond memories was eating at Coney Island. Or was it Coney I-Lander? Stayed not too far away from this place and most everything was already closed so we decided to take a trip down memory lane. Arrived just before closing and noticed the options weren’t quite like I had remembered. There were not multiple ingredients out to put on your dogs… maybe because it was close to closing. Nope. Dog with onions and chili or dog with cheese onion and chili. I opted for two with cheese and a tamale with cheese and chili. The best thing I can say about this place is that it’s about as quality as Taco Bell… but with hot dogs. They weren’t bad, just not like I remembered. I’m struggling with the third star just because of my stomach’s reactions the next morning, but really, what do you expect from a cheap chili dog?

The best coneys hands down! Beware of imitations. If you want some greasy hangover food there is really nothing that compares. One of my all time favorites easily.

The best a Coney Hot Dogs EVER! The chili was spiced just right and the dogs were cooked perfectly. The buns were steamed and put together was a symphony in my mouth. The price of the dogs were under $ 2 each so I had 3 plus a drink. The atmosphere was a little divey but the taste of the dogs made up for it. They don’t offer a wide variety of menu items so what they do offer, they do well. If your looking for something to fill your belly, that’s delicious and affordable, then this is your place.

I have friends from out of town that every time they come to Tulsa must go and get some Coney’s. I take it for granted because I can eat here whenever I want, but I can appreciate the tasty goodness. If you’ve never been here I’d say give it a try it’s worth it. You can put down 4 or 5 Coney’s and a bag of Fritos pretty easy. So live, love and eat. Oh yeah, add some hot sauce to the top for a lil Kick.

Walk up order style, not friendly at all. First time there so felt a cow staring at a new gate and the whole time I was trying to determine my order the server just looked st me and never said s word. I should have left then but I was there… Tables were not cleared, wiped down or clean. I will not return NOTHING positive to say!

When I walk in it reminds me of my childhood. Play room in the back, real cheap food. The dogs are delish and cheap. 3 seems to be the perfect amount, with chips and a soda.

I LOOOOOOVVVEEE Coney I-Lander! Always have, always will. The menu is simple, the restaurant itself looks like its stuck in a time warp, but this is the taste i’ve known my whole life. Great steamed buns that are always soft, hot dogs grilled on a flat top right in front of you, and simple but great toppings. This place doesn’t need fancy gimics or a buffet of toppings to get you in the door. They’re cheap… I mean they’re small so they should be cheap, but they’re a great value especially if you have a coupon.

First time at the Broken Arrow location of this Tulsa tradition. Coneys are great. Small steamed buns, unique chili, lots of onions and cheese. Always good. Usually get 3 with chips and drink for $ 7.14. Knocking off a star for the drive thru which slows down service inside. If you are in Broken Arrow, give this place a try.

The best dogs in BA and they’re cheap! Not all Coney I-landers are created equal, but this one if my favorite in Oklahoma. If you’ve never been to a Coney I-lander, be sure to order at least 3 dogs. They’re simple yet delicious.

Simply put, this is my favorite place to get a chili-cheese coney. Basically just small coneys with mustard, onions, chili and cheese. They put the buns in a steamer, so they are extra chewy. When I eat in the restaurant, I’ll add some chili powder and hot sauce for an added kick. I recently moved to Dallas and the first place I go when I come back to visit.
