My husband and I Love this place!!! It being our little hometown spot among a few others that are now in downtown BA that we also really enjoy. The food is always fresh and comes out speedy. Haven’t had any issues with the service, ever! It does help speaking a lil Spanish though. lol ;)

My fiancé and I love this restaurant! The food is consistently delicious, fantastic margaritas, speedy service, and the managers come say hi to us due to seeing us in there all the time. I always get the pollo la señorita, sooo yummy! The only thing bad I could say about this place is that they’re hiring a bunch of new servers, and some fumble through service and don’t speak any English, so they don’t understand when you ask for certain items. I’ve asked for more chips for the table, and we get more salsa and no chips lol. Harmless mistake, but it’s happened a few times, so I thought it was worth mentioning. Overall, wonderful restaurant, I highly recommend them! :)

5⁄5 Atmosphere 5⁄5 Service 4⁄5 Food 4⁄5 Price The downtown Broken Arrow area has gone through some major revitalization, and, as you would expect, would have at least one mexican restaurant. We have eaten at Fiesta Mambo at least 5 times in the last few months. The parking leaves something to desired, even at non-peak hours. Many of the businesses with larger lots have signs posted parking for their businesses only under threat of tow. We usually park a block west to get to the business. This isn’t a complaint, but be prepared to walk. A previous reviewer didn’t like that it seems to be on the dark side in FM but I actually like it. The setting is what you’d expect in a Mexican restaurant. Overall, a nice atmosphere. We usually go at non-peak times so we miss the crowds, which is nice. The service has always been great. Each waitress has been wonderful and polite. They tended to only come around when we needed them The food is what you’d expect. I’ve had several different plates and enjoyed them all. One comment or said they didn’t get enough salsa, we always seemed to get enough, and they’d bring more. The chips are what you’d expect, no complaints. I really liked their queso to mix in my salsa. The price is also what you would expect. Not too pricey for a family of three. Overall I enjoy going in to Fiesta Mambo… For as big as Broken Arrow has got the downtown area still has a small town feel, and FM fits right in.

I’ve been here a few times and generally like it. I hate how dark the place is, but that’s my only complaint. I love that they have a whole vegetarian section on their menu with FOUR options! Seriously, non-vegetarians don’t understand how rare it is for us to have more than 1 or 2 options on a restaurant menu. I actually felt overwhelmed trying to decide which of the 4 choices to order haha. I think I’ve had all 4 by now and found them all to be average or above average fare. The prices are pretty fair too.

My partner and I ate here pretty late in the evening, so there were only about two other tables occupied. The service was OK. However, the entrées were not good. I ordered the Enchiladas Suizas and my partner had the Enchiladas Aztecas. The salsa verde was extremely sour and unpleasant. I didn’t eat much of the rice, as it was quite mushy and the taste wasn’t for me. The cheese came in a little bowl on the side. My partner described the consistency of his enchiladas as «like glue», and taste was very bland. We ordered flan for dessert, as they were out of deep fried ice cream. We both loved the flan — it was delicious. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was so poor that we won’t be coming back.

When we go here everything is great but they ALWAYS leave stuff off to go orders and then have no idea what you’re talking about when you call about major items missing, ugh!

Their food just isn’t that great. I think they make more money during happy hour, when people want margaritas. Location? great! Margaritas? Awesome! Food? Eh. just average. They have a tiny gift shop area with beautiful items from Mexico. I love that aspect of the place!

We tried Fiesta Mambo today and found the food to good but the service was poor. For no one in the establishment when we got there my order came out wrong. Many times we had to ask for refills or even silverware. The chicken was more flavorful than the beef and we did enjoy the Verde sauce but I don’t think it’s somewhere we would go often.

Being a true and proud BA lover I tried this long time Mexican establishment. Now that I can say I tried it, I most likely will not come back. The patio is nice and fun, this would be most excellent on a nice day because of the newly revitalized downtown area in BA. The inside was festive and looked promising. Upon being sat I looked around and folks seemed to be having fun and hosting family and friends for dinner. My wife and I were promptly greeted and the staff was very kind. Thank you for that. The chips and salsa: The chips are not special in the least. I adore homemade chips and or fresh chips however these did not fulfill my hopes. The salsa, you know it was not bad. We were told before we went in they are very reserved on the amount of salsa they give, we were warned. The amount of salsa they serve is less than half of a small cup. If you tried you could in fact eat all of the salsa on 2 – 3 chips. But the salsa was acceptable. They also did give more when we asked so they are possibly trying to cut down on waste. The entrée: My wife enjoyed the enchilada suizas, the salsa verde sauce poured on top was good, perhaps even made in the kitchen. The chicken was on par with what you would get at other mexican restaurants, shredded and moist. There was a cheese on top of the enchiladas, I believe the menu stated it was queso fresco however this seemed like the feta cheese you purchase at the store. It seemed highly processed not a fresh cheese. My entrée was the mole’ chicken. I love mole’, I have sough this dish out throughout all of Tulsa, sadly I was let down immensely by this dish. The chicken was grilled and slightly tough to cut through. The mole’ sauce itself was sweeter than I have tasted in the past. This reminded me of Neutella or chocolate syrup. Little spice was tasted, however they do state they make it in the kitchen. Sadly, this was not what I was looking for and I would not order this again. My recommendation: If you come here please be seated on the patio. I would order something that is fairly consistent throughout the Mexican restaurants throughout all of Tulsa, fajitas, burritos, and other popular Mexican fare. I would not recommend branching out here or looking for anything too traditional.

Lunch with a friend on a Thursday. Moderately busy, we got plenty of attention and even specialized help. Enjoyed the hot chips and salsa. Fajitas con queso for two were very good. Coffee with cream after was great. Sopapillas extremely fresh, hot, delicious. Perfecto! Not sure yet if it rates a 5 for consistent great food and service but eager to go back and try more.

This is the second time I have eaten at Fiesta Mambo. I went for lunch with my mom, sister, and 3 kiddos. We were seated pretty quickly. Our server was very polite and attentive. Not an empty cup or salsa dish at the table the whole time we were there. The reason I’m rating them 4 stars is because the food is kind of bland. I ordered the steak and cheese burrito which was covered in queso and came with rice and beans. While there was plenty of food on the plate, there wasn’t much seasoning or flavor to any of it. I may give it a little time and try this place again.

The location is good and I think it could be a really grate place but it just isn’t. It has average food and poor service.

I liked the salsa but the rest of my meal was just average. I went for sunday lunch. Service started out pretty good but once the church crowd came in the wait staff was completely overwhelmed. I tried flagging down 2 separate people to pay my bill and the process still took about 10 minutes. I used to be a server and know the Sunday lunch crowd cam be intense but they were very under staffed.

Love the food. It’s all good here. The sangria swirls are the best drink in town. I’ll take any excuse to come here and have one.

Tasteless and terrible. Mom and I stopped in for a late lunch one afternoon. This place looked closed it was so dark and empty. There were, altogether, 4 tables being served. My mom got her drink, I did not. Mom got her food, I still had no drink. Ate the stale burnt chips and watery sad excuse for salsa for a while. No beverage. Mom got her tea topped off… I asked for the dessert menu, and the waitress did not know what this crazy English word meant so she sent the manager to our table. Apparently it was the unmarked greasy booklet on our table. I asked for the Fried Icecream… This is the most disappointing part… My «fried icecream» was a bowl of soft serve, piled with fruity pebbles, and completely hidden under a can of whipped cream. 10 minutes into my Icecream I finally received a glass of water. And 25 minutes later were waiting at the door trying to pay and leave. The lady at the front had to go find our waitress for our ticket.

Hate leaving a negative review because their food is amazing! Unfortunately it is the slowest most unorganized service I have ever had. Went in for lunch today and did not get greeted or even seated for 10 minutes. Finally walked out! Won’t be back. Happens every single time we go there.

My husband and I are new to the area and were excited to try this place. It’s an adorable looking restaurant. We had high hopes. Well… First, there’s no sign whether you are to seat yourself or wait to be seated. Eventually someone came and seated us. Took our drink orders pretty quickly. The beer was slightly above room temp. We waited and waited for our order to be taken. Waitress walked past us several times without acknowledging us. I even tried to flag her down once but was ignored. The food came out pretty quickly(once we got her attention). We ordered the fajitas fiesta mambo for two. We did not get plates and had to eat off our napkin/garnish plate. Each time waitress walked by she did not even glance in our direction. Food was just average. Not well seasoned and slightly overcooked. Covered in oil. Oh, I didn’t even mention the salsa and chips. Salsa was basically chunky tomato sauce with a little seasoning. This is supposed to be «home made»? I know when someone opens a can of chopped tomatoes and throws in some onions. Chips were greasy and slightly stale. Sorry, but we won’t be back.

This was my third time to visit Fiesta Mambo’s and just like every other time the food and service were great. They have fantastic home made Salsa, and if your a fan of the thinner tortilla chips then you will love it there. The restaurant was slammed when we arrived(around 1:30 on a Sunday) but the wait wasn’t long. They found us a table in the back after less then 10 minutes of waiting. Despite the huge crowds our drinks rarely went unfilled, and they even brought out Salsa refills quickly. If you like fresh affordable mexican food then you will really like Fiesta Mambo.
