My daughter stayed in this hotel Tuesday night, October 27. When she woke up, there was a bedbug crawling across the comforter. She took it to the desk, and the desk clerk, whose name is Cindy, squashed it. To my daughter’s horror, blood came out of it. She was immediately upset because her children stayed with her. Instead of apologizing, Cindy told her that she must have planted to bug to get a free room. Of course, my daughter was very offended. She spent $ 38 at the laundry mat getting everything washed up, crying the whole time. She had a migraine that night. Do not stay here unless you want bedbugs and rude service. There were several other things wrong with the room, like the toilet running all night, but that was minor compared to the bedbug and Cindy situation. We are contacting the Tulsa Health Department and the franchise headquarters to file a formal complaint.

Stayed here for an overnight trip and was generally pleased with the experience. One night at just under $ 60 — you should know what you’re in for. In terms of location, it’s just of the BA Expwy, and it’s near a ton of restaurants and stores so it’s definitely convenient to services and it’s really not that far from the heart of Tulsa. I was checked in fairly quickly by a friendly staff member. The corridors were kind of musty and had a funk of grime and cigarette smoke to them. Low lighting was reminiscent of a cheap horror movie, but that’s about the only knock I can think of. The room was clean, had no crazy odors and apparently did have a flatscreen w/local channels in HD contrary to a previous review. The queen-sized bed was sturdy and comfortable. Had no trouble getting to bed that night and the front desk was more than willing to accommodate my request for a late check out. If I’m in this area in the future, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

The good: Clean rooms, decent amenities, fridge in the room, generously sized rooms, INDOORPOOL!(amazing during winter). Free breakfast buffet. Lovely Indian owner, also great and helpful Indian night auditor, probably the only professional help we encountered. The passable: CTR tvs(no HD), dated carpet, don’t stay on 102, way too noisy, 108 is much better. The bad: Manager on Duty in the morning was rude and ignored me when I asked her about breakfast items, afternoon auditor(older white male) kept talking bad about Texas and Obama. Too casual, too«talky». I don’t know if it’s an Oklahoma thing, or the fact we were hispanic, but everyone seemed either rude, cold and some downright stared at us. We stayed at other budget hotels(3 – 4 rooms at the time), and this was the only one that was worth coming back to. If the help had limited to being professional and not make any uncalled for, awkward comments, we would’ve kept coming back. Stayed there three times, and they had a really cool rent 3, get 1 free offer, but didn’t go back for the free night. We’ll probably visit within the next month, and I hope they’d get their clerks under control.

We stayed here for three nights — sister getting married. It was a mixed bag. Location is perfect. Close to hway and a brand new Quick Trip(LOVEQUICKTRIPS) Room was mostly clean but weird things were run down or not taken care of properly: the shower curtain was ripped along the seem, the shower drain didn’t work — I had to pull the whole hunk of metal out to let out the water, someone stuffed toilet paper into that rubber hole thing that stops the door from hitting the wall. That was just weird and this little unnoticed detail by housekeeping. I saw a roach in the room once. After my mini freak out, I decided that OK just has roaches — generally — and it was a normal siting(I had to lie to myself to endure). I never saw another THANKROACHGOD There was coffee available all the time, and it wasn’t bad at all. This was SUPERWEIRD. The water fountain in the lobby was broken, and rather than call someone to fix it, someone made a LABEL and affixed it to the broken water fountain indicating«BROKEN». HUH? The water cooler in the«gym» also didn’t function. Oh, and the«gym» was a lone treadmill and a confusion-centered Soloflex contraption. The pool was tiny but the kids liked it. So one day I was desperate for water and it seemed an impossibility to help me. The front desk clerk remedied the situation by pulling water from the juice machine. It was cold but had the slightest hint of orange. I gave her props for her ingenuity but couldn’t help but wonder: HOWHARDISITTOPRODUCEDRINKINGWATERFOR A GUEST? INAMERICA? The rate was pretty good for the many rooms we rented. I ended up paying $ 202 for 2 queens, 3 nights.

I found the lobby and outside of the hotel to be nice. However, I was issued a room on the 2nd level. I was disappointed that you do not have an elevator. Furthermore, the 2nd level is very unappealing. Corridors and stair way have an awful stench. I stayed with you for 4 nights and it NEVER improved. Ice machine is broken the whole time. No a/c in the corridors or stairwell either. My room was suffocating hot when I entered and it took about 1 ½ hours to cool down. That wasn’t very pleasant since I just had to haul all my stuff up to my room because you have no elevator. Drinking fountaing in the lobby did not work. Staff member who checked is on 7⁄17 had no idea how to get in to the WIFI so I was unable to get any work done that evening. She gave me inaccuarate information. Wed morning staff was very frazzled and edgy due to their full house they were expecting later. Just a really disappointing experience. I won’t be back to this property when I go to tulsa which is 2 – 4 times per year.

I’ll give you a few pros: the staff was nice, and it was close to the 51 Turnpike. The a/c worked. Aside from that, our room was… iffy at best. There were no bedbugs at least, huzzah. But our room smelled like either an old lady died in there or a shrimp tray went bad. Thank god my sister had(lilac-scented) Febreeze to staunch the stench. The complimentary coffee and tea was probably 12 years old and not worth the trouble. The shower head was located approximately at my nostrils and I’m only 5’3″. There were dead(?) bugs on the floor in the hotel hallway. There was a suspicious stain on one of the beds, and my sister laid down a towel to cover up the stain… only to find a stain on the towel. Pillows were half-sized. But dammit, THESTENCH.
