We sat in the drive thru line for over 20 minutes and there was only 1 car in front of us. We will never go back again.

Pretty disappointed. Was there at 4 pm. Very slow service. I pulled up to give order. Waited for 5 minutes. Pulled around and someone was still at window. Not very friendly. No napkins. Burger and fries not fresh. After all that wait old food. I asked for no whipped cream on shake but it was put on

While the food is pretty good, the service is terrible. The waitresses are always back by the soda machine talking to each other. It takes forever to get seated and waited on, and even longer for someone to come to the register so you can pay. The cooks are just as bad except for one guy who always looks like he’s the only cooking.

Worked there this summer for some side money and experience, and found many very disturbing things. The Food: is disgusting and almost never properly made. The fries are usually cold, thin, and bland. Even saw frozen fries make it to a customer a couple times. o_o’ The Mac ‘n’ cheese is frozen then microwaved. The safest things to eat there are the frozen brownies they have shipped in and prepackaged from another company(which they only give the customers a ¼ a bar in their shakes), and MAYBE the chicken tenders(since it’s hard to mess those up or get someone sick from them.) About everything else is simply trash and over priced as well. Equipment: ALL silverware and dishes are coated in a ‘garbage water’ and heated on by a dirty dish washer that might be cleaned once every 2 days. The easiest way to see this nastiness is by wiping the chipped/cracked plastic glasses they give you inside.(91% are like that.) The illusion of lots of ice makes the customers think it isn’t dirty, when if you asked for a empty glass and wiped it on the inside or out it’s dirtier than if you took make-up off your face.(It’s like a thin layer of food particle chunks and grime.) The floors, booths, and even bathrooms, are not cleaned every day. They just do enough to pretend it’s better.(Touch at your own risk.) Even the drink stations aren’t cleaned well. The nozzles for the soda is soaked in lemon water over night, or even sometimes lemonade(when the workers don’t have or feel like cutting up a lemon.) The water has next to no filter and the cherries limes and lemon are left out the the air and bugs all day with no lids or anything. Workers: 95% is untrained or are trained very poorly. You are treated terribly with verbal abuse, harassment, verbal assault, and that’s just from management and staff. Not to mentioned you are paid $ 2.15 hourly and if you don’t make enough, I. E, at least minimum wages the G. M can get in trouble, so he’ll tell you to lie when claiming your tips(You know, the one YOU get taxed for.). If you refuse, he will threaten to demote you or simply get rid of you. Consumers note: If you ever have a complaint or ANYTHING to tell the managers or owner and decide to call and leave a message, no one will EVER hear it. None of them can access it and the owner won’t get ride of it either. It’s the same as screaming into the void. Saves them time and energy with dealing with people.((And they have many complaint’s daily))

This steak and shake location was hands down better than the last one we tried. We were greeted warmly and my cousin’s birthday mobile coupon was accepted. The waitress was very friendly and helped us decide on shakes, which were amazing! We both ordered the burger meal. She ordered a birthday cake shake and I ordered my favorite; m & m’s. The food was very good and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Good burgers quick service. Get the triple with fries. It’s less than a quarter pound but good.

Super friendly staff! Shared a meal with my hubby and used a coupon, and no one gave us grief about it. Super packed on Saturday, but we were seated right away. Would definitely be back!

I went here on 06÷26÷13 with my friend Taylor B. because the coffee shop behind it that we were going to go to was closed. SS makes some incredible fries. I had a chicken sandwich I believe and it was okay. Taylor had a burger and a coffee. Overall this location is nice and clean, has decent parking and the service is good, although my receipt was wrong but my server said she was new.

Stopped at this Steak N Shake in May of 2011 and we(3 total) had an early morning breakfast. The portions were plentiful, the server was kind and quick, and the food was above average. The total bill was right at $ 15.00; which for that much food is more than reasonable.

I love Steak n Shake and I try to go every time I am in Tulsa. Great food and service every time I have been to this store.

Sorry but S&S is competing with only a few other restaurants as THE worst place to eat, ever. We’ve tried it twice in Tulsa and once somewhere in Missouri, each time with horrible food and hands down the worst service ever. To each his own, but I will not be going back to a Steak & Shake in the foreseeable future.

Oh, Steak & Shake… I had to write a review on this place because it holds a special place in my heart. I used to drive way out to this place all the time with my friend Courtney. Part of the experience, for us, was the drive out there. The food here is yummy too, though! I’d eaten at Steak N Shake in other cities(Chicago, and I’ve eaten at the newer one in Midwest City, OK), but this one is the one I visited the most. The side-by-side chocolate/banana shake is SO yummy and worth the calories. Their burgers seem fairly lean & the fries are fresh tasting. It’s way better than most fast food places, but also a smidge pricier than some of them(but not by much). There aren’t any Steak N Shakes near me, but if I’m ever back in OK I usually try and make a trip at LEAST for the shakes!

Good food for the money. They have several meals for $ 4 which even fast food can’t beat. I love the diner atmosphere. They seem to employ a few ’ special needs’ individuals which really makes me like them even more. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful.

I love Steak n Shake. The steakburgers are outstanding here, and when you can get a milkshake with that you might as well be in heaven. I used to always to go Steak n Shake late at night, but really don’t get the opportunity to eat there as much. The breakfast bagel sandwhich’s are out of this world. The orange freeze milk shake is so good you will punch your self in the face. My last visit here I got a Double Cheese Burger with baked beans, fries and a Banna Milkshake. The Double was fantastic the hot juicy steak patty on a soft bun with all the toppings was delicious. The burgers are terrific. I also like the small thin fries here. Some people don’t like them as much but i love them. The baked beans were only average. The beans were not that soft. But the sauce was great. The Banna Milkshake was freaking delicious and kicked my butt. I loved it. Shake n Shake originated in Illinois and has made its way through most the midwest. So we are lucky to have them in Tulsa. If you are out late and looking for some good grub you should hit it up.
