I took my mom a few weeks ago to this place for the second time since last year. For my bad luck I found out Dr Cristi doesn’t work there anymore. This time Dr Mildorf saw me and what a disappointment. He came in and barely checked me or asked me any question about what was going on with me and told me I had bronchitis and prescribed me Levaquin. I told him that Levaquin was prescribed for my husband when he had pneumonia and I usually take amoxicillin. He just looked at me and sarcastically just answer me «and?» So I kept asking him if I could take anything less strong like amocixillin because I’ve taken that before and he just said«so?». So let me tell this«doctor» the same way I don’t know about medicine you definitely don’t know shit about the profession I have so I don’t need your sarcastic condescending attitude! I was going to give them 2 stars because the nurse who took me in was nice but since the front desk was a little moody and evryone in that place is rushing and can barely pay attention to patients anymore nothing could save them from my 1 star. Too bad that from the 5 star I gave them last year they went down to 1 in such short lerupd of time.

Late on a Saturday night I brought my child here… obviously her pediatrician wasn’t open and wouldn’t be until Monday. So the hours here seemed convenient! The staff was more concerned with my small balance from a previous visit(to the hartsdale location… probably about 2 years ago) than the health of my child. I was told I’d need to pay if she was to be seen at all… I have insurance, so the amount we are talking is not the hundreds my insurance will pay them for the 5 minutes they are looking at her… but the small percentage left over that they don’t cover… Once I paid the wait wasn’t long… we were brought into a room and the Dr. came in and spent 3 minutes tops with us… I was told my child had tonsillitis… he did not swab her throat… he looked down her throat for less than 2 seconds and made this deceleration! She was prescribed antibiotics… after 3 days of not being able to keep the medicine down or eat anything at all after that first dose, I called back to ask if they could prescribe a different medication since she was throwing this one up. Instead I got a 5 min lesson from the RECEPTIONIST about eating before the medicine was taken to avoid nausea… she must have not understood when I explained that my child couldn’t eat anymore because the medicine had already destroyed her stomach. I can read… I’ve taken antibiotics before, so have my children… I don’t need a lesson… She finally agreed to ask the doctor to prescribe something different(I asked for the normal pink amoxicillin which is what her doctor always prescribed for strep or any other bacterial infection) and that he would call me back in a little while and confirm. He didn’t…CVS did to tell me I could pick up my meds… what meds? I wasn’t even able to explain to the Dr what was going on… So I went and got some other pink meds(not amoxilician) that were only prescribed for 5 days. Another $ 25 co-pay later my daughter could actually keep these meds down… but after 3 days still had a fever bordering 104! If you’ve kept track… that’s 6 days this child has been sick, a week of school missed(a week of work missed for me), days not being able to eat… so I went to my regular pediatrician… she looked in her throat and said«tonsillitis? You can’t even see her tonsils!» I brought her the meds that the first moron prescribed… to which she said the first antibiotics, although they work, they aren’t ideal for a little kid because they are hard on the stomach. The second meds prescribed aren’t even recomended for throat infections… huh? She prescribed the pink amoxicillin I asked for initially and guess what? 2 doses later and my daughter hasn’t had a fever in over 18hours. She’s back to eating and playing! I don’t know if they are getting better kickbacks and perks from the drug manufacturers of the crap I was prescribed or if the dr that saw my child should no longer be practicing medicine but this place was a colossal waste of my time, my money($ 150 before my insurance company sends me a bill for the balance I owe… this is between co-pays for all these doctors and co-pays for 3 types of antibiotics which only the one worked) and more importantly let a little girl suffer for much longer than need be. I can’t wait for them to send me the bill for my balance this time! I know right where to tell them to put it! *i want to update. I got a call from Trish today who was kind enough to ask about my experience and try to help«fix» the situation. I think the back end of this location is definitely interested in making everyone have a happy and positive experience here and I really do appreciate the attention given to my situation. My daughter is on day 3 of the medication given to her by her pediatrician, so the situation is essentially fixed, however I am happy to know that someone reached out and is trying to make things better. If I ever did decide to go again and had an issue, I’d be sure to ask for Trish! Thanks Trish.

First time here staff was friendly & place was clean. The wait time was short & doctor was good. The only thing I did not like was they don’t give you any paperwork about your diagnosis like City MD. At City MD where I frequent they give you paperwork when you pay that has your diagnosis & what you have been prescribed. Second visit here one other person in waiting area but extremely long wait for doctor. They take your co-pay before you see the doctor so it kind of makes you hesitant about leaving not wanting to go through the hassle of getting a refund. I think it will be worth the drive downtown closer doesn’t get you better. I have been here over an hour & still waiting to see the doctor after the triage & I can hear other people from the waiting area who came after me being treated. Won’t make this mistake again headed to City MD

Although the wait time was a little longer than expected, It would be unfair to base my review solely on that. The staff was very kind and professional, the Dr was very patient answered all my questions, didn’t feel rushed at all. Two days later I received a follow-up call to see how things was going for me… Great overall experience kind and courteous staff!

My very first time at this facility on sat 4÷25÷2015 got there at 8:00am and ladies wasted no time to get me checked in. The ladies were on point and very polite, a smile so early when feeling crappy was so needed. Thanx ladies!!! Didnt wait no more than 10 min when called in by Jeremy who also greeted me with a smile, very professional and attentive! I was then seen by Dr. Christi Gandham, who also greeted me with a smile and assured me that I will be ok. Check up went well and quick, I was in and out within 45 min and prescription called in. The facility was clean and will def recommend this place to family and friends!!! KEEPUPTHEGOODWORK!!! You have a great team!!! Shirley R
