Review is based on one dish, the hanky and okro with meat stew. Soo sooo good, fresh okro, seasoned to perfection. The owner was also so delightful and shocker– service was fast. Will do again. I wish I could have tried the beans but that’s an order requiring advance notice.

This place is excellent. That’s really all. The service is excellent, the food is very unique to the American taste bud and frankly I love it. It reminds me of Indian food to an extent. Plus their Ginger Juice is out of this world.
Warning: VERY SPICY.
P. S. I eat extremely spicy food and his had my sinuses on fire.

The guy was so nice… He warned me that it was NOT a Jamaican restaurant and it was African. I told him African. I explained to him how everyone mistakenly thinks I’m Dominican. The potions were great. The food was exceptional, if I could eat there everyday, I definitely would. It’s chilled and quiet also. You must try the food. I got the lamb okra sauce with fufu.

I work at the hospital around the corner and this is my favorite spot to go for lunch. Every dish I’ve gotten there has been really delicious with just enough spice. For those who’ve never tried West African food before, the Jollof rice may be a safe one to get. My favorite, however, is the Okro soup with Fufu, which is like a soft dough made from pounded yam and cassava which you tear pieces off and dip in the soup. It is so good. If you don’t like okra, the peanut butter soup is also really good. It tastes kind of like Thai peanut soup but spicier and less sweet.
The owners are really friendly and will help you with recommendations. They also bring out the food fast and they give you a lot. Price is also very affordable for what you get.
All in all, I like the food here at Bognan International Corp, and highly recommend the place.
