Burger King

The food is usually good and the place looks clean but looks can be deceiving.
The other day, my wife went in to order breakfast. She asked for fresh hash browns because she saw hash browns just sitting there and saw a new batch go into the fryer. The cashier said no problem.
Then cashier and my wife both saw a roach run under the cash register. My wife told the cashier and she called someone over to kill it because she was scared of bugs.
Another worker came over and tried to brush it off claiming it was a wire, not a roach. My wife complained saying that her and the cashier both saw the roach. She complained and asked for a manager. A manager came over and made the same claim while the cashier gave a dumbfounded look. The manager then got annoyed and said they would take a look later.
The manager then asked my wife what her order was and proceeded to give her the old hash browns. My wife complained saying she wanted the fresh hash browns coming out of the oil. The manager tried to convince her the hash browns just came out the oil even though she saw them sitting there the entire time. The manager walked away and decided to help someone else.
The new customer said she wanted fresh hash browns too but the manager took the small pack of hash browns he attempted to give my wife and pass it on to the new customer causing the new customer to also complain. The manager then walked away.
In the end, the cashier apologized for everything and made sure my wife got her order with the fresh hash browns.
We used to go to this location a lot but now we refuse to go and tell everyone not to go back.

this burger king location is one of the best in mott haven. it’s best at lunchtime afternoon hours. always have had hot enjoyable food. it’s very clean as well. the prices have gone up.

I normally shun Burger King because I’ve had the worst results here, in terms of an «after meal experience» than any other fast-​food chain with the possible exception of White Castle.
However this Burger King is an exception and it also proves that my experience is based upon how people run their operations rather than what gets delivered to them.
I get the impression that the employees are people who are involved with their respective churches rather than hires who get employment more indiscriminately and I think this adds a very good element of having a more responsible employee who both handles food and also deals well with customers.
The only thing I get at Burger King (unless they have fish) is a Double Whopper with Cheese, lettuce tomato and onion ONLY and it’s all worked out.

Took 15 minutes for two bk stackers and fries. Too funny.

When this place is busy, it is less enjoyable. You can stand in line and wait for your food for up to 15 min. When the lines are shorter it’s alright. Often times you can see some entertaining exchanges between disgruntled slash imbalanced patrons and the overworked, stressed staff. Kids love the indoor playground.
