Castle Hill Bicycle Center

I was thrilled to see a bike shop fairly close to home. (I thought the only «local» bike shop was Westchester Bicycle Pro Shop). I needed a full tune-​up with new tires. A few days later, my bike looked and felt brand new. Their prices are great and Tito is such a down-​to-​earth guy!

I’ve been going to this bike shop for a few years now. The service has always been nothing but great! Tito is a very sweet and helpful guy.

So here it goes … I bought a New Fixie online and my Dad insisted he’d build it for me using this Youtube video the Website had online… Lets jut say I’m glad I live close by to Castle Hill Bike Shop… Got there and waited about 10−15mins for a guy named Tito to finish building a Vintage Schwinn Cruiser for a guy. My turn came it was Flawless! Tito quickly got right to it putting together my Fixie. He even noticed my seat post came the wrong size and had one for me at a decent price … Rode this bad boy all over the Bronx tonight with no issues … Thanks Tito !!

Small bike shop with a moderate selection of bikes. I originally went with a friend of mine. I was allowed to fit the bikes. Spoke with the owner of the store about what I was looking for and he gave me a good idea. I started speaking to my friend on the side for a moment and the owner made a rude, passive aggressive comment I guess since I was prolonging a sale. Anyways, thats the only complaint I have about the store. Otherwise, the owner is very knowledgable about bikes. Be honest about what you’re looking for and he’ll find you something good.

Got a flat rear tire out at Orchard Beach and of course left the kit at home. Found this place via Unilocal in desperation. Very cool and helpful people. You know a business is good when they are friendly and willing and you feel it. These guys or I should say guy (Tito) went beyond. Let his buddies wait who were there to wait for him to close shop and go to dinner w him while he unhurriedly fixed my bike and gave me a clear rundown on what else I should get fixed in the future. No attitude here. Just real good family business feeling. Reasonable price too. I was low on cash and he was totally cool w me having a friend call in w his credit card and pay that way. This is how stores should be!

I was referred to this establishment by a nine year old. He told me they were located on Castle Hill not far from the stores on the corner. (I had to smile for the effort anyway.). My son and I went looking for it and spent a good part of the morning searching for it. We were not successful in locating it and I did not have the number to contact them. We ended up going home, since my son did not feel well in the first place. I reached out to them to find out where they were and the person who answered was soooooooo nice. Long story short, we ended up going to the bike shop the very same day, minutes before they closed. Not only were they kind and patient, they were extremely accommodating. We left there with a bike and helmet and bell for my son, and he was a happy camper. Such kind hearts. Thank you Tito and Anhony. Rhonda and Torence.
