I ordered from here not long ago. Maybe about a month & a half. The food is disgusting now. Oily tasteless pizza. They’ve been taken over too. No longer Cestra’s. Well at least according to the menu. The delivery guy is down to earth. Black guy, who drives a car.

They have good pizza, good appetizers, and a good drink selection. My only issue with this place is the lousy service, and lack of maintenance. Seems like the cooks in the back are the only ones that are doing a good job, the delivery guy is a nice guy too. All the times that I came here the bathroom is always broken, the tables are always dirty and the seats are always greasy. I know they have a huge afterschool rush but they should make an effort to fix these little things, it’ll be good for their business. They make really good pizza here, they should keep that integrity and make a positive enforcement to make their place better to dine in.

I had a cheese slice and the crust is very good. It’s a good representation of a NY slice. Chicken parm hero was adequate. Lots of chicken and very filling. Id go back.

The guys are always great and the pizza is not the best I’ve ever had but it’s good. Good chicken parm heroes too

So I had a taste for Lasagna and this was the only pizzaria in the area. I’ve never ate from the place before, however the traffic in & out of the place seem to be quite vast. I’ve had one friend tell me that their pizza slices were ok but nothing you can find better somewhere else. As Leslie O said about the new real estate development that’s right across the street from them; I live in them. So I’m always walking by this place. I decided since I didn’t feel like traveling to Mariella’s on 60th street that I would give them a try. I went inside the service was straight to point; yet slight bland(nothing special) I ordered the Lasagna dish which was $ 8.75. I waited for about 10 minutes which wasn’t to bad minus the few ghetto people in & out of the place. I finally get home hoping for hot flavorful meal. When I bit into this greasy, watery, tasteless pasta I nearly threw up in my mouth seriously. I figured ok… maybe it needed some spice or something. I added some salt & pepper but it couldn’t save it at all. It was awful. I’ll never eat from there again.

Somehow landed on this side of the world and went in for a slice of pizza. It was very good if you ever happen to be in the area but I’m sure you can find just as good or better slices where ever you live. It happens to be right across the street from a seemingly new and fairly nice real estate development, which seems out of place in that area. By the way, I overheard a customer complaint/return some sort of white sauce pasta because it had too much sauce — fetuccini alfredo? I don’t know, but stay away from the creamy pastas.
