Colorful Sunburst Day Care

We enjoyed having a tour in the daycare. I am impressed with Miss Elena’s energy as educator and do believe that children are learning every minute there. She inspires in life a thousand ideas how to keep children. The room is clean, bright, spacious. The backyard play area also was cute, cozy and clean even despite the rainy weather.

We recently had to spend some time in NY and through family Miss Elena was recommended to us. We made an appointment to meet and observe her with my nephew and I cannot tell you how enchanted we were by her. The daycare itself is spotless not a spec of dust (I checked everywhere), colorful, bright and a child’s idea of heaven. Toys, art, instruments, books, everything you can imagine for a child. I also liked how spacious the center is and the backyard play area especially the lower «children’s only» deck, it was so cute I never saw anything like that before.
The moment we walked into the daycare his eyes lit up and the phrase «Oh my goodness» continued to be uttered by him. He started to play and then Miss Elena gently took him aside and started to teach him lessons. I learned a few things myself while watching her, it was amazing. He did not even noticed or care when we left. He loved going there, he would follow her everywhere even if we were in the room and was sad when it was time to leave. She easily became his best friend and teacher during a hard time. We were impressed how much he learned with every visit. Drop-​off and pick up was easy we just pulled into the driveway and if we had to go into Manhattan we just parked on the street and walked to the subway. My only wish was that she lived here in California, more one on one teaching (well balanced with play) and more reasonably priced than any pre-​school we know in NY or here LA. If you live in lower Westchester County especially Pelham, Pelham Manor take the time for a visit you will not be disappointed. Thank you Elena & Louie you were great!
