I was apprehensive at first about this place. My husband and I just got married three days ago and since we couldn’t afford a honeymoon we thought we would spend our time doing things we never thought of doing before. I didn’t know, don’t know any good places from the Bronx. We just moved to Brooklyn from California and thought it a good idea to try different food spots in all of the boroughs. When we first arrived four large families of Mexicans were seated. Mexicans have great taste in food(I mean guacamole c’mon right?). We were standing for about fifteen minutes without anyone recognizing our presence. My husband then confronted a waiter and had us seated. Upon seating the service was seamless. He ordered an «East Coast» omelette and I, myself, had the vegetarian omelette. The food was tasty and came out rather quickly. It’s not a place I would travel from Brooklyn again to visit but overall it wasn’t a shabby time.

I’ve been here a few times, very good place for breakfast. Not too sure about the lunch selections, I had a quesadilla for lunch and it was pretty good, except for the pasty guacamole or the generic sour cream. Thats the only issue I had with my lunch, the chicken however was nice. I do recommend this place for breakfast, they cook very good eggs and breakfast meats, I like their pancakes. I’d eat here again when in the area.

Love this diner! It’s very simple and the food is awesome. It’s a local spot that I frequently visit when I’m in the area. The staff is very nice. It’s not spacious so plan accordingly if you decide to stop by.

I love it here! The food is always great and filling. There isnt really a quality complaint when it comes to the food. This place has made its way into my family’s tradition. The pleasant service from the staff is practically the staff being our family!(Sorry if that isnt grammatically correct) really i just like this place. Maybe yall caught them on a weird day

First time here. Wasn’t too bad. Fries were definitely reheated and slightly over cooked. Chicken Ceaser wrap was decent. Prices not bad. Baked potatoes cooked without skin… weird. Fast service. Nice atmosphere.

Came here for breakfast with my son. The pancakes were horrible. I agree that anything from a box would have been better. Ordered scrambled eggs and sausage and the sausage had a weird after taste. This place is cheap but the food is not good so I would go anywhere else!

Yeah now they have Corky’s diner across the street. Larger space and better seating. I like what they did. I worked around the corner doing the overnight shift and in the morning I would head straight to Corky’s. They have the best french cappucino and the breakfast is real good. You can get a lot for your buck in this place. The guys are old school and real funny. They always have a certain tale of The Bronx from back in the days. Good spot

This is the newer version of Corky’s. Service is quick, staff is nice and food is legit. Oh yea and it’s freakin’ cheap. Anything else?
