Douglas Rosen, MD

As a long time patient of Dr. Rosen i would not recommend him. Each time i go there i have to wait at least 1 hour, before going into the exam room, and that is with an appointment. The last time i went there i waited for 1 hr. and 43 minutes in the waiting room, and then 10 minutes in the exam room, with an appointment.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rosen for over 20 years. He is very knowlegdable and has helped me and my family tremendously. He is very thorough in his examinations. I recommend him to all my family and friends, they love him. I highly recommend Dr. Rosen.

For the record. I’ve been to this office and this doctor many, many times. Dr. Rosen was my dermatologist growing up, and once I was old enough to take myself to the doctor, I went elsewhere. He was a terrible physician with awful bedside manner then, and continues to be today. I recently needed a new dermatologist and after seeing his information on the internet I foolishly decided to give him another shot.
I’ve been questioned why I didn’t remain in the care of the «accutane» doctor. He is now practicing out of Tarrytown and despite the excellent service, the location is an inconvenience. Anyone in the Tarrytown area in need of a wonderful dermatologist, feel free to contact me.
However since this review was written I have begun treatment with an amazing dermatologist on the Upper East side. It is easy to get an appointment, the staff is friendly and supportive. There is virtually no wait time, appointments start on time! The Doctor is always available to answer questions, whether it be via telephone or email. And, I am happy to report, my condition has been properly diagnosed and treated. Anyone willing to travel to the UES for a dermatologist, feel free to contact me.
As for John A.B., rebuttle of a review. This is Unilocal,this is a place where people are free to speak their minds and give an opinion. It seems pretty obvious by your pretentious «review» that is actually more of a direct attack on my opinion then a review of services, that you are not an actual Unilocaler at all. More likely an employee at Dr. Rosen’s office. Perhaps even the Doctor himself, as there isn’t a single person in the world who would describe this doctor as you did. I mean really, only one review and the name — John A.B. — as in AntiBiotic perhaps? It’s just a clever disguise for John Doe.

I recently had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Rosen for a dermotology check-​up. I found the expereince so refreshing I wanted to write to everyone about it. I have 3 reasons why i am recommending Dr. Rosen so highly:
1. He is truly knowledgable and passionate about dermatology
2. He is just a wonderful human being– caring, considerate, and sensitive.
3. He gave me the kind of thorough examination you just don’t find Dr’s doing today. He told me that he does these extensive examinations because he finds an average of 2 cancers a month on people who had no idea they had it. How terrific of him to care this deeply about his patients.
I recommend Dr. Rosen without hesitation to anyone seeking first rate dematological care.
