The food was amazing and the service was even better. We had a party of 10 so we had a good variety of dishes and apps and everything was great. Vincenzo the manager was extremely attentive and went above and beyond to provide amazing service.

Nothing spectacular — been here many times but this was the last. would have given it a 3 but the pompous, rude and unfriendly service from Vincent was unacceptable. He refused to take our party of 5, appetizer order without the full meal order. He grabbed the menu’s abruptly, bumped into two of us several times throughout the meal and was down right unpleasant and arrogant.

Been to a few restaurants on this strip. And this one did not disappoint. The con: its small(this is only a con if you have a big party, you might have to wait). Thats it no more Cons! The pros: Its small(nice and cozy) just how I like it. We waited for our table at the bar, the bartender served us a HUGE glass of wine! Love it! They bring out bread! We ordered the mussel marinara as appetizer: it was delicious! The mussels were steamed just right, and the SAUCE! Was delicious. You can tell it was made in house. We were sipping on the sauce afterwards as if it was made to be sipped! I ordered chicken parmesan with ziti. The plate usually comes with spaghetti but i replaced it for ziti. This place was delicious! Tasted liked authentic Italian food. My fiancé ordered the chicken capricciosa This was more on the lighter side, despite having a thin sliced delicious piece of fried chicken. It was REALLY good too. And im not much of a salad fan. We also ordered the Potatoe Campagnola which are thinly sliced potatoes with onions and peppers. They were a little greasy and a little spicy, but nevertheless they were really good too. The staff were great. Very attentive to our table! We are definite fans. And will return! Place was great cant complain. Average plate cost i would say is about $ 20FYI

Food was grossly undercooked, mind blown how you undercook chicken francese. Notified the waiter and brought over manager. Manager was rude and suggested I order something else. I ordered the House Salad alla Enzo which was brought to me without the provolone and roasted peppers as described on the menu. When the bill came, the chicken was still on there even though I sent it back. Brought this to the attention of my waiter who took the bill back and shook his head rudely at me. Was corrected after 20MINUTES! Never coming here again, terrible food, rude service.

Me and my father have been coming here for years .Went for lunch Saturday during Ferragosto. I had rigatoni Bolognese which was delicious. My father had eggplant rollatini, which he said was great. We love the olive bread. Never had a bad meal here Nice restaurant with brick walls and tin ceiling. Nice staff, especially Josephine.

Enzo’s is by far the best Italian on Arthur Ave and one of the best I’ve ever had in NYC. The fried meatball appetizer is to die for. Chicken Scarpiella is another fantastic dish. I’ve never been disappointed. The service is spot on everyone is friendly and attentive. As a very picky Italian, I definitely recommend. NOTHING in comparison to Olive Garden(I wouldn’t dare eating there).

What a shame ! Filthy bathroom — no service at all. Spoke with the person in charge — she had no apologies to offer — no comp’s — just they are busy today. Waiter came to our table once in the hour we were there. No — ’ how is the meal. Do you want another drink. The food was okay, nothing special. Pricy with no sides with the pork chops or veal Marsala. Sorry we waited an hour for this poor choice — when there are so many others on the block. Shame on you ! And we had asked for separate checks, which wasn’t done until the end and it was totally incorrect.

Questo posto e fantastico! Finally real authentic Italian. It was well worth the trip to little Italy in the Bronx to find this gem! The atmosphere, the service and the food were top notch. I was seated immediately. The olive bread was excellent. The fried meatball appetizer with onions and sweet peppers was awesome– warning though– cause«now that’s a some a spicy meatballa!» The double cooked pork with peppers and mushrooms was absolutely delicioso! Also had the rigatoni with butter nut squash and sausage– molto bene! In the world of Olive Gardens and Pizza Huts it is no nice to find a place that«speaks Italian to you» through its food and ambience. I highly recommend and will be back!

This was my first trip to Arthur Avenue, and I can’t wait to go back to Enzo’s! We were celebrating an 85th birthday, and the staff was so warm and inviting, but efficient. I’m sure they deal with tourists dining in their restaurants every day, but we were made to feel like we go there all the time. The food was amazing!!! My friend had a side of angel hair pasta with butter, and as simple as it sounds, it was the most perfect bite of al dente pasta I’ve ever eaten. Enzo’s is a great spot, and the food is hands down classic Italian as you would expect. Perfect evening…

I, too, passed up my favorite Arthur Avenue restaurant because of its«B» rating and chose Enzo’s because of its«A» rating. I also chose Enzo’s because there were more patrons during the afternoon doldrums. The exposed brick walls and tin ceiling have charm. The service was quick and friendly. My son is a Fordham student. It was a kind of special occasion for me to be able to meet with him spontaneously on my lunch hour. Enzo’s could not have been a warmer, more inviting environment. It is a quintessential Bronx Little Italy experience. My son’s Mom is the daughter of a long line of great Italian cooks. Her Mom’s name is «Italia» and she was born in Montenero, Italy. Therefore, my son has a great appreciation for genuine Italian cuisine. He loved his meal. Probably partly because he was starved after weeks of surviving on Fordham cafeteria food. I would agree that his veal parmesan and my chicken parmesan were both very solid choices… and for $ 19.995 and $ 17.95, respectively, you could not ask for a better value. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the quality of the meat was excellent. From our window table in front, our view of the entrance to the storied«Retail Market» –where they still hand roll cigars — was perfect. If you can get out of Manhattan and take the 10-minute Metro North ride from Grand Central two stops to Fordham, you’ll treat yourself to a memorable Italian-American cultural experience.

I’m sorry, but this place was terrible! I would have been better off at Olive Garden. We were seated and waited 10 minutes for them to bring us menus and water. Once we got the menus they served complimentary olive bread and Italian bread. The olive bread was the best item I ate here. We started with the meatball appetizer. I could not even eat it due to the spice level. I like spicy, but this was just plain ridiculous. The waiter told us that it was because they never know how hot the Italian peppers will be and today’s peppers were really hot. He then explained that they do not taste the peppers first so however it comes out is just the way it is for the day. I’m sorry, but I don’t go for that. We order half portions(lunch sizes) of pasta for the main course. My husband had linguine with clam sauce. Clams were overcooked to the point of rubber and the sauce had no flavor. It tasted like the pasta water. I had the orrechetti Della nonna special which had chunks of pancetta that I could not eat because they were too thick I couldn’t chew them. The dish was supposed to contain a touch of cream, but it ws swimming in an overly oily and way too creamy sauce.

Was told Ricardo’s was the place to go in the Bronx’s Little Italy section but decided to try Enzo’s on a recommendation. The restaurant is on Arthur which I guess is the main street in Little Italy there. The street itself is packed with a bunch of restaurants and we were told the food would rival that of the more popular Little Italy in Manhattan. So… in we went… The service from the get-go was great. All the employees were friendly, attentive and generally on-point. The restaurant is nice and quaint with a little bar off to the side. Maybe it was because it was a Wednesday night but it wasn’t that busy which was nice for us. I had the chicken parmigiana and the signature fried meatballs. The meatballs were the appetizer and was a very nice portion. They were covered in onions and peppers and had a good spice to them. The chicken parm was a little disappointing for me. While the flavor and portion were good, I felt the chicken to be a bit thin. The most disappointing part was that my plate was covered in water, presumably from poorly drained spaghetti, which made the parm soggy. Also had their cookie fudge for dessert which was delicious. I would like to give 3.5 stars if I could, but I rounded up due to the excellent service. p. s. it’s pretty nice standing outside the restaurant and hearing conversations in full Italian. It definitely added to the environment.

My first time in little italy after I moved to the Bronx, and this was definitely a great italian food experience. my friends and I started with an appetizer platter of cheeses, meats, some veggies. simple yet delicious. Oh and the bread was really good. I think I got full just from eating that. Make sure you ask for olive oil and balsamic vinegar. we got a veal dish with mozzarella on it. this dish was really good. we also got a pasta with tomato sauce with olives. the sauce and olives were really well made, the tomatoes tasted fresh too. but I wasn’t a huge fan of the actual pasta. Service was great though. You don’t have to be dressed up when you go, but I recommend at least jeans. I’ve had better italian food elsewhere, but this sure is a great restaurant among many other gems along arthur ave(little italy)
