Frank’s Pizzeria

Italian dishes and heroes are excellent. Sometimes they put too much sauce on the pizza pies even though I beg them not too. I am still giving it two thumbs up. Calzones are the only thing I don’t like. Everything else is delicious!

Love Frank’s! When I order for take out, I ask for them to make me cavatelli sautéed with spinach and garlic and oil. They make it so good and the portions are great, always have left overs! I even eat it for breakfast that’s how good it is and it even tastes great cold!

Ordered a pizza to watch the fights — Pizza was good! We ordered mushroom for the topping. Good choice. Delivery just takes a little while when they are busy.

For a pizzeria, i cannot believe how great their dinner items are. Their calamari is amazing. I have tried every chicken dish and pasta dish over the years and am always satisfied. They are my go-​to place for good italian take out in the area.

We ordered one pizza grandmas two orders of pasta one hour of garlic knots it was $ 57! Pasta was bland mushy they don’t put salt in your water I’m an executive chef I know I ordered food from the pizzeria but there has to become some kind of standard! when you pay $ 57 for a meal that probably cost the pizzeria 650 to me and they can’t even put pride into it nor even be nice to the person at spending $ 60 on a clip there’s no reason to go to some pizzeria like that! You’re better off at Joe’s pizza down the block or Crausby pizza but don’t waste your time and money with people that don’t even care about the food there’s a slopping out! PS the bread that comes with the pasta dishes those of rose in hero breads you can taste it Mr. Frank people aren’t stupid they know what inferior food is! Skip this one! Feel sorry for the people that don’t know! If you’re going to cheat the neighborhood at least eat them with a smile! It would make your customers feel better! When you gave it here at the store if I could!

Best pizza in town! Those grandma pizzas with spinach are to die for, if you’re around don’t miss out on their pizza. Worth the 10 minute drive!!!

Best pizza in the neighborhood, actually everything they make is very tasty lol like their baked ziti, lasagna, etc I’m new to the neighborhood so ever since I discovered this place, I’ve been so addicted. I even used their catering services for my house warming get together and I’m happy to say everyone was loving the food. Keep up the great work guys!

I waited an hour to get the worse large pizza in the world. The pizza was running warm to cold. The pizza was doughy, not enough cheese. It was just a fail and a bad experience TRYING to eat it. I ate one slice and gave up. My friend threw her slice out the window so the birds could eat it. I should have learned from last time.

Regular slice wasn’t amazing, but gran ma slices are awesome. Plus, cheese garlic bread: D

I wish i could have this pizza everyday. Its so good, best pizza in the Bronx. I dont trust bronx pizza, when it comes to my slices i like to stick to what I know, i was pleasantly surprised! And for that ill be a repeat customer every chance i get. Please get your self on the 6train and get this pizza. You wont be dissapoonted

This is the damn best pizza i’ve had in the Bronx, ever. This is actually in my top 3 delicious pizzas ever. In NYC… EVER. Thanks Unilocalers for giving me Franks locations so that I could enjoy this deliciousness. I appreciate it.

I had a crazy hankering for good pizza last night and so I went on my trusty Unilocal app (duh) and this spot close by stood out. The slices were just calling my name and who am I not to answer!!!
I used the Eat24 app to place my order and within a few minutes I received a phone call to confirm my address. Service was polite and VERY quick! I was not expecting my doorbell to ring so soon! Omg the aromas that filled my living room, I wish I could bottle it! The pizza itself was amazing; hot, cheesy, and garlic goodness! My 2 year old actually ate a full slice all by himself, no begging and no help required! I also had an order of the garlic knots which were also delicious! I can’t wait to try the grandma slice, we will definitely be ordering again!

Ordered a grandma pie for lunch today it was a hit with my coworkers. It’s so crunchy and delicious the sauce and basil was so good. Will probably order one for the weekend.

Pretty decent food and pizza from Albanian hands. Fair prices and very popular in the hood.

Decent pizza. They charge extra for sauce given with calzones (why?!) Hard to find parking around.

Nice pizza! Sauce and cheese were generous and fresh and crust was good! Can’t wait to try their other pizza!
The soups were good and what the weatherman ordered! Tortellini en broda was fresh tender pasta with a delicious broth!
My favorite, lentil soup with pasta was delicious!
We will be back! Ps delivery was quick and food was piping hot!

When I walk in its almost always busy, reaffirming how its a well liked place. The pizza is always fresh because of the high turnover.
I love the grandma spinach slice with its crispy thin crust and fresh mozzerell. The combo of the tang of the red sauce with the spinach and the cheese is the best. You can tell they put a lot of time in developing the flavor of their sauce. Not directly from a can like most other places. Their garlic knots are luscious and doughy with an unbelievable golden crust on the bottom where they touched the baking pan. When they drizzle the fresh garlic and olive oil on top… its heavenly. I ask for a side of their red sauce to dip on the side. Their regular cheese pizza slice is a winner too. Pillowy crust, and good quality cheese/​sauce ratio. I also recommend the chicken parm hero, chicken wings, and pasta dishes.

I LOVE this place. My grandmother introduced me to Franks when I was younger. I also introduced Franks to friends and to my boyfriend who lived in manhattan and now lives with me. I used to order meat and the chicken and sausage dishes are amazing. But since turning vegetarian I love there pasta dishes and I love this hero I order just peppers, onions and potatoes. My boyfriend recently ordered chicken Siciliana and enjoyed every bit of it.
This place is the kind of place where you want to eat great food but don’t want to do all that fancy stuff.

Great place. Exactly what you would want in a New York pizza shop. If you are in the neighborhood in Pelham Bay in the Bronx then stop by here for some fresh made pizza and Italian style food. All the food has been great over the past 4 years.
Staff has always been great even when they are busy. I’m a regular here.
