I did not go to this place because someone from my group picked up the pizza. The service was very quick given the amount of pizzas we ordered(About 8). I tried slices of pepperoni, meatball, mushroom, and cheese. All of the slices were cooked to perfection. There was a slight crisp to each slice. There were plenty of toppings on each slice with a good balance of cheese and sauce. The sauce could have been more flavorful, but it was decent regardless. The slices were of good size too. Will I go back? No doubt.

New to New York and was recommended this pizzeria in Little Italy. Pizza was delicious, thin crust and crunchy just the way I like it!

Probably THE best pizza place in the New York area. The service is great. It’s always crowded, but worth the wait! Right around the corner from Fordham University.

I’m a Bronx girl, and can honestly say it’s pretty much the best pizza around this area. Wished they delivered! It’s in the middle of Arthur Ave, with Fordham U crown almost always there. It’s always packed, but the crowd moves quick and you can topically fiend a seat by the time your order is prepared. Great stop with kids after a day at the zoo or the botanical garden. Their regular pizza is very good. They have some specialty pizzas as well, a full salad bar, plus they make pasta. It wont disappoint!

Ok experience — I tried a «specialty» slide whith just cheese and tomato sauce which came out to $ 6 for a mediocre experience, not on par with my Arthur Avenue expectations. Prices from the website are apparently out of date which added confusion at the payment time. Nice outside seating and quite packed but definitely not worth the money.

Walked by, saw the outdoor café. Decided to get a eggplant parm hero and a chicken parm hero to go. I will start by saying that the wait was about 15 mins, when i picked up my heros to go and i got home. I discovered the chicken parm had too much breading, not enough cheese. The eggplant was tasty, but also lacked cheese and sauce which was disappointing. Sure we ate but perhaps i should have opted for the pizza as the pizza looked really good and they had 10 different kinds of pizza on display. Overall not bad but i will give them another my opinion the chicken cutlet was too thin, which caused it to be dry.

Place is always packed so finally decided to try it. Huge slices, but the hardest, most potential tooth-breaking crust I have ever had with no flavor. Couldn’t eat the crust. The sauce wasn’t good and either was the cheese. Too much oil. Eggplant and mushroom topping — the only tasty part.

This is the crispest, most delicious, full flavored pizza I have ever had in New York.

Wanted a change from our regular Arthur Ave Little Italy spot and well ou regular space their pizza hasn’t been that great recently so we were being adventurous. Probably won’t do it again, received a disappointing experience for the treachery. Pizza was ok. Salty. The line was long and you were kind of rushed when you got up to finally order. When you live in NYC long enough it’s just the way things are. 3 stars, pizza was salty and a little doughy, not the thinnest of crusts and no brick oven taste.

The LOVE I have for Italian food and the culture is no secret… The pizza was a great size, equal amount of cheese and sauce plus I love the thin crispy crust. The garlic knots were soft warm and they did not skimp on the garlic :) Better than most I’ve had… definitely NOT a disappointment!

My first visit to Arthur Avenue was yesterday. We were looking for a place for pizza and decided upon Full Moon Pizzeria. I didn’t realize it was a restaurant that sold pizza by the slice. I’m always a little wary of those places as sometimes the pizza is not as fresh because it’s been sitting. So, we purposely ordered a pie. When our pizza came it was huge. I thought it was a large but it was really small. The pizza tasted okay and had a good crust, cheese, and sauce, but did I think that it was extraordinarily extra special? Not really. I think I was expecting something extraordinary since it was on Arthur Avenue. However, I’m looking forward to trying other pizza places on Arthur Avenue to see what they are like. I would not go out of my way to eat at Full Moon Pizzeria. The service was very good and friendly. It’s a small and casual place.

I’ve been here three times now and the pizza is certainly nothing special, especially given the attitudes of the guys behind the counter. Your standard NY slice, but at twice the price if you’re getting ANYTHING on it. The rating would have been a solid 3, however, this 2 is really for this weird experience I had: It’s not that I didn’t enjoy the mediocrity of it all, but I have to say when the guys behind the counter start speaking ill of customers in Spanish… like, this is ‘murrica and lots of Gringos hablan Espanol… but, I digress. 1. White slice – «pretty not bad» as my Japanese teacher used to say, but I’ve had better. I appreciate that there was a good amount of ricotta on here and the tomatoes were a nice touch. 2. Buffalo Chicken Slice – the man actually warned me that this was«very spicy» and suggested I order a different slice! WTF?! OK, I don’t know who he thought he was talking to, but I love anything hot. I’ll eat a hot pepper with nothing else because it makes me feel like a badass, tastes like hot fire(amazing), I’m Jamaican… like what are you even smoking back there? Buffalo sauce ain’t hot, and especially not whatever canned variety this is! I was offended. He literally took my slice away and started to show me other pizzas. I could go on more about this, but I just want to forget the whole thing ever happened. ‘Annoyed’ does not begin to describe my mood. $ 5, NOTSPICYATALL, and really not very appetizing, either. You can get this exact same taste at most of your neighborhood spots, without making the journey if you’re in another borough. And even if you live right around here, I’d suggest Zero Otto, Antonios, or even Joe’s(average slices). The service coupled with the basic quality here are no reasons to find myself back at Full Moon Pizzeria. Also, my friend and I arrived there at 7:56PM and they allegedly close at 9:00PM. So, can anyone explain to me why there was a rush to clean the entire space and stop selling pizza at 8:00?! Such f*ckery.

Mmmm. Pizza. Good old NY style pizza. This place has tasty, hefty slices for a decent price. They have the typical toppings(buffalo chicken, chicken parm, veggies, and so on). It’s a regular pizza joint where you buy your meal and take a seat. Nothing too special, and the crust was just a *tad* too crispy and hard for me. Not inedible though, would recommend! Oh, and the garlic knots were pretty tasty and had real pieces of garlic! Yum.

My favorite place for a plain slice of pizza. It totally hits the spot in every way. This is also the only place my picky grandma would eat pizza, so that’s an added compliment. I come here every time I go back to visit my family.
