A Thai restaurant right in Pelham bay, not a bad choice. I like the feel of it, it’s very cozy and humble. Nice staff. I came here for dinner on a weekday so it wasn’t as busy. Appetizer Curry puffs — B! Not all fresh but it’s a different taste to it as compared to other Thai restaurants I’ve been to. Papaya salad It took a while to come out but it’s realllllly fresh! Taste amazing. Entrée Pineapple fried rice — A Not bad actually. I had better. It looks plain but it’s very flavorful. I give them props for adding spice and other flavor. Shrimp pad Thai It’s somewhat oily but taste good. Stingy on the shrimp though. My experience was alright, since it’s family own and only have two waitresses the staff is somewhat behind. They don’t move as fast as they should but their pleasant people.

The restaurant looks very clean and cozy. I ordered the Grilled shell stake and you decide how spicy you want it. My bf ordered the pad Thai chicken. Both were really good but the shell stake was slightly better. For dessert we had the mango sticky rice which reminds me of the Spanish dessert Arroz con leche in taste.

food is always very good, service is always very good, décor is always tacky. part of the pleasure of eating out(and spending $$$) is enjoying the ambiance of a place. come on guys, take down the tv’s and all the bizarro decorations! plastic flowers(and other odd chachkas), weird pictures, hand-drawn menu-items on pieces of paper randomly taped up here and there(it’s like a 10 year old doing the interior décor)…spruce the place up!

I had Chicken Pad Thai that was very good. Pineapple Fried rice was delicious!! i Thought it was going to taste weird having pineapples in the rice NOT @ all. Shrimp Pad Thai it was good, But very Few shrimps, Remind them not to be cheap!;) Crispy Shrimp rolls are Great. Curry Puffs, must TRY! Different but tastes great w/the Puffs! Chicken wings are yummy, Non Hairy Lol. There’s a kids meal but only has chicken breast w/fries, But they very thin chicken pieces. There’s meter parking, by the 6train. You can seat in for eating. Workers gave good service!

I am between 3&4 stars. I’m giving it 3 hoping someone will pay attention. Sometimes this place is great, sometimes it’s bad. For ex last Sunday I got pad won sen glass noodle dish — the bean sprouts were old & there were eggshells! The mango in the sticky rice — on the verge of spoiling. Another time I ordered the sticky rice was half cooked. I complained the next time and they gave one for free but they didn’t have mango — ok! The sticky rice was wrapped in plastic wrap had ANTS! So it’s a hit or miss. This Sunday the same stuff — excellent!

Despite all the Unilocal reviews I write, I have a special place in my heart for good pad Thai, as basic as it may sound. Honey’s definitely did not disappoint. If you’re in the area for work or play and need a quick Thai fix, come to Honey’s: great friendly staff(I think they’re Chinese ;) and chicken pad Thai with mood lighting in the afternoons, as evidenced by my beautiful photography. Location is a bit iffy and space is tight, but food is a solid four stars.

Every dish is full of flavor ! They make amazing food and you must try it ! I have been to Thai restaurants in Manhattan but the dishes here are so good every single time. I love the homely feel of the restaurant and the waitresses are always kind! This is why I go here for dinner or lunch all the time !

The server was very attentive and friendly but the food was ok. I’m used to very good Thai places so this one was just ok to me. The Tom Ka soup and Pad Thai were way too sweet and the fish cake was burnt but it tasted ok. The chicken satay was good though. The service was excellent.

I went on recommendation from a friend. Staff very friendly. Refilled water several times. Gave me wifi password. Food was average. Priced accordingly. A fair experience. Takes a ding because they’re right by the train, and every 5 minutes you cannot hear yourself think its so loud. Still, I will be back.

I went here after great recommendations from a friend who likes Thai food and I wasn’t disappointed with the entrée. We started with appetizers(shrimp dumplings) which were decent nothing crazy, my fiancée ordered a Thai iced tea and we both didn’t like it. It consist of milk with iced tea. She ordered pad Thai which I though was amazing except one of the pieces of chicken were gross cuz it had fat in it. I ordered the curry chicken(the second most spiciest they offer) and it was amazing I loved it, my fiancée who doesn’t like spice loved it as well. We tried the fried ice cream and it was not good the cake Bater didn’t have good flavor and the ice cream tastes to much like freezer. I would come again just wouldn’t do the iced tea or the dessert.

Have gotten delivery from here a few times. The place is very average Thai food. I don’t know any better Thai restaurants in the area so if you live nearby and are craving Thai, this is probably your only option. I had the chicken panang which is my go to at any Thai place so I have a lot to compare it to. My main reason for 3 stars is because the chicken quality was quite poor. It was dark meat and fatty and mostly tasted like rubber. The sauce and vegetables were actually not too bad. I’d recommend vegetarian or tofu here and skipping out on the meat all together. My other complaint is that their delivery standards frequently change. Sometimes they will deliver to where I work, sometimes they won’t, sometimes the minimum order will change. It’s quite variable.

Extremely disappointed. Getting straight to the point came here for some Thai takeout and was very disappointed. First, in regards to prices pretty high for Thai food. Secondly the actually food. I got pad Thai with chicken and veggies. My noodles were burnt and vegetables look like they died a long time ago. I asked for any extra sauce to place on my meal they charged me a dollar for a small peanut sauce container. Will not be returning to this place.

This place is one of the most unique takeouts in the area. Their chicken pad thai is a solid meal with flavor and i have no complaints there. I’ve only called in and picked up, the service for that isnpretty quick. I also had the curry puffs as appetizers which are pretty tasty. They’re a small appetizer but I’ve been to other thai places that serve them small too. Out of all the takeout spots in the area it’s one of the better ones, and the prices are on par with the the other places to eat around here.

I just left Honey’s Thai Pavilion not more than 5 minutes ago and I must say it’s already one of my favorite Thai restaurants in New York so far. The staff is very nice, that’s important to me. The décor is also a little spiffy, which is nice, but I’ll go to a five if it’s good food. I ordered green curry with tofu and vegetables and it was very tasty! The food also arrived quickly. We were in and out of the restaurant in roughly 30 minutes. My only significant problem was the portions are a little small. But I’d rather have quality food. Besides, it was enough. I’m not hungry anymore. Another thing is I don’t like is that they charge you one dollar extra for brown rice, so I ended up paying $ 9.50 for lunch special, but that seems to be standard fare for Thai restaurants in New York. It appears convenient, near a subway station and a major intersection, but if you’re driving, chances are you’ll have to pay standard NYC street parking fees. I will definitely come back to Honey’s if I return to the area!

I decided to try this place based on the favorable reviews some of my Unilocal friends gave it. I’ve been struggling to find good Thai(or any Asian for that matter) in the Bronx so I was excited to try this place. The restaurant itself is small but they make good use of the space. They do take-out so when you walk into the restaurant you’ll see the take-out counter to the right with the dining room to the left. The décor is simple — plain wooden tables and chairs with Asian touches on the walls. There is a big-screen television on the wall that was set to a channel playing music. The menu has a large variety of dishes but isn’t too overwhelming. We started simple with the spring rolls — the dough had that good crispy/chewy balance and they had ample filling. It came with duck sauce to dip which had a mild spice to it; I was pleasantly surprised! For my main I had the garlic shrimp which was shrimp stir-fried with garlic sauce and mixed veggies, it came with a generous portion of white rice on the side. My dish was super tasty — filled with flavor and not overly salty at all. Service was good — our waitress was attentive and friendly. Overall, I had a great experience at Honey’s and I’m glad I found an Asian restaurant close to home that’s not just take-out. Definitely worth a return trip.

Great find near my friend’s apartment. The quality and prices were pleasantly surprising! She’ll definitely be back now that she’s found this place, and I’m sure I’ll join her on occasion when I’m in the area.

Perhaps one of my favorite places to have Thai. A very comfortable environment, amazing and friendly staff always greet you with a smile. They are very helpful if you have any doubts in what to pick. They have a great selection in their lunch menu. You can pick the level of spiciness you are getting your self into lol. I highly recommend the Pad Thai, the pineapple fried rice, the Chicken in Thai Brown sauce is my go to when I’m having a hard time deciding.

I’m fairly consistent with my meals here and its always good. I order the basil fried rice with shrimps, green curry with vegetables and a Thai ice tea. The food is very tasty, with the right amount of spice. Yes, delivery can be rather long at times but it is worth the wait. My biggest gripe with Honey’s Thai is their rather high price point. An order of rice can set you back $ 10 easily…

Honey Thai is my one and only favorite Thai restaurant in the Bronx. My boyfriend and I have frequented this restaurant on numerous occasions and always greeted with excellent service and reliable great tasting food. The restaurant is very casual and never noisy. Prices are moderate ranging from $ 9.95-$ 14.95 for most meals and the portions are very generous. The appetizers are slightly less but I was never that impressed due to average taste and small quantity. I’m a huge fan of dumplings and did not fall in love with them here. The prices of appetizers are also about $ 3-$ 4 less than an entrée. I believe just ordering meals is the way to go here. Honey Thai provides a pretty full menu too. Our top favorite meals are the Garlic Shrimp, Sweet Sour Spicy Chicken(or beef, shrimp, squid, pork), Honey’s Special Lamb, Honey’s Spare Ribs. All splendid meals and did I mention you get to choose the spiciness of your meal? This is important because one time I felt that I could handle a higher level of spiciness. I know right! my American palate can’t handle the advance Thai spiciness! Fortunately, the waitress was kind enough to take my plate back and give me a new… less volcanic meal. =(The embarrassment was quickly washed away by the delicious replacement and a glass of Thai ice tea. I do appreciate understanding staff. So excellent service, yummy tasting food + quiet & casual atmosphere makes Honey Thai Pavilion a perfect choice for a nice dinner in the Bronx.
