Hi all! This place is not what it used to be. It’s sad, I bought from this place for about 8 years and it’s become a horrible people place. The owner John is a great guy, but now that he’s not around as much things went south. Wish he can bring this place back like his Father had it or how he left it, His Father by the way was an awesome guy. I used to spend about $ 200 on bait every weekend and now they completely lost us as customers. Bought my own boat and get my tackle up the block so I wouldnt rent a skiff from them anymore. His son is an unpleasant Guy. He doesn’t know how to treat customers. He wouldn’t treat me that way though, I’m twice his size and not in a fat way so he knows who he can do this to. In other words he’s a punk kid. Just go up the block by dunkin donuts, its a better bait shop, they just don’t have skiffs. But atleast they’re happy to see you and treat you well. So if I were you… Buy your bait up the block and rent your skiffs here. Oh and by the way if your Hispanic or African American be ready b/​c they treat you different from everyone else.

By far the best bait and tackle I’ve ever been too… From the first time I walked in the door the staff have been nothing but friendly and helpful. They have a huge amount of supplies from clothing to molds to make your own sinkers. They even rent boats so you can fish in the bay. For the little you pay extra in price you get more with service. I will always go here first for what I need cause I know they’re gonna have it.
