I hired Joel to clean the windows of my 16th floor apt. and he did a great job. While there I asked him to do a few minor repairs in my home and he was very accommodating. He’s pleasant and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him.

Asked for a quote for a countertop replacement. He came by and took a look but never follow through. I called him again a few days later, he got distracted by family matters and never called me back. I will not chase anyone down for me to give them business.

I called Joel to install a door on my living room that I was turning into a bedroom. He was courteous and quick. He came with everything he needed and quoted me a good price. Overall the door shuts and locks and looks very natural.

Overall, very good handyman. I hired Joel to redo my closet. Basically, install one of those bracket and shelf closet systems that you can get from a hardware store.
Pros
— reasonable and competitive rates
— thoughtful, we have a no shoes policy and he was kind enough to take off his shoes, unless he was working with electricity, but he didn’t hesitate when I gave him shoe covers to wear
— came back to fix a problem; a few screws hit spot spots in the wall and as a result, not holding up the unit. he came back, installed anchors in all the holes, not just the problematic ones… so far the closet is still holding up :)
