Excellent spot to pick up cool City Island art and souvenirs at fair prices. There’s also a bunch of toys and dolls and such that kids will love. The owner is great to talk to and knows heaps about the area. Big plus if you’re exploring the island.

absolutely not a fan… had asked to have an item made… brought examples of color to owner… who insisted it was one color and not another… no matter what color you called it… most of the item made was not made in the configuration i asked for or the color for which he was given samples… did not buy item and asked to have small swatches returned by mail as it was an inconvenience for me to travel there… he refused… owner has a lot to learn about good customer service… will not go back there… this is new york city and this is not the only speciality shop out there. i am sure there are others with better customer service
