Been coming here since the mid 90’s not a single complaint. The food is way better than most Spanish food restaurants around the city, finger licking good and their service is outstanding, they’re very attentive, welcoming, pleasant and even funny at times. My family and I love this place and the staff, paying the toll is well worth it!!!

I would’ve loved that with the renovation the same chefs and waiters would’ve stayed, but unfortunately only one waiter returned and the food portion and flavor changed drastically. My all time favorites was the bistec a la palomilla and ropa vieja which is actually a pepper steak now, also the portion of the bistec is smaller and the authentic flavor is not the same. Tso chicken was also affected having a“gooey«sauce and less taste then before. Hopefully they can get there previous Chinese chefs back. Then it would be full of customers as before, good luck !

The place has been remodeled to look sleek and significantly bigger. Come here for great Biztect ensebollado, and amazing pork fried rice. It’s family friendly and the service can’t be beat!

No one’s mentioned the broiled shrimp dish — amazing. It’s $ 15, but worth it. Definitely the best Chinese food in the neighborhood. The expresso is wonderful. Great food. Good prices. Friendly staff. It’s not hip, for sure. But who cares?

My favorite Chinese/Spanish food, hole in the wall. And it literally hasn’t been updated since probably, 1971. Anyway… The food? It’s awesome! Inexpensive and absolutely worthy of the scramble to this part of the Bronx. The chicken chunks are hearty and crunchy but tender and delish. Make sense? This is my signature thing to order… But the rest of the menu is equally enticing. Nothing to see here… Maybe not the nicest pics for your Instagram, but oh, yummy for your tummy!

A good China-Rican restaurant in the boogie down Bronx. One stop north of Yankee Stadium, just down the steps from the elevated number 4 train. Went here a number of times over a decade ago when I worked in the area. Stopped in last night before the game and the place hasn’t changed. A little bit worn down, but clean. Had an egg roll, the chicken omelet(think egg foo young without the gravy), the subgum lo mein and some Tsingtao beers. Good stuff. No complaints.

I was a little hesitant when my boyfriend pulled up to this place today. All I have to say is this is exactly what I have been looking for, for a very long time. Old school cantonese style chinese food. Tasty, perfect and served boiling hot! This is now my favorite place to eat! Try it! I promise you won’t be disappointed! Just don’t let the décor deter you!

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. The staff is friendly and attentive. As someone who comes here quite often, I have my favorite waiters who already know what I want. The food is awesome but a bit pricey for the neighborhood it’s in. They also stopped serving tomatoes a couple of years ago when the news broke out about an epidemic. I have had the following and would recommend for all to try: –Special house rice(has pork, shrimp, chicken, steak, veggies) –Grilled fish fillet with sweet plantains(so tender and awesome) –Pork chops with pork fried rice(they are big pork chops and very meaty) –Boneless fried chicken(very good) –Fried chicken gizzards(good for those who usually like this) –Steak sandwich(very tasty steak) –Chinese soup –avocado salad(always fresh) –expresso with milk Tip: When ordering sweet plantains, you have to specify how soft you want them or you will get sweet plantains that are way too soft and greasy.
