I have been going to this location for several years now and have watched the business turn over to several different owners over the last few years. Recently I had been going to the same person for a few years and getting gel manicures. Right before I went on vacation I decided to get a new manicure and the person I normally go to was not there. I asked if she would be back the next day and they said no. I decide to get a mani/pedi anyway. The person who did my pedi cut my nails too short and then cut my cuticle to the point of it bleeding. Then whiling have my last gel manicure removed the woman filed the tops my nails down so much that they were extremely brittle as she tried to shape them. Actually the manicure did not even last me a day before may nails began to brake. I am so disappointed in this place. Over the years I realize that there good people move on as soon as they become skillful. Unfortunately now I am on the hunt for a new place to go to.

I have been there before but this last time was the worst. Because I have tiny nails I don’t normally do designs on my nails. But I saw a cute idea for short nails and asked for it. Basically two straight lines. The woman freehanded the«straight» and it looks atrocious. Never going back there.

This place sucks. I’ve given them my business 3 times too many and each time I have left feeling like I need to get my feet or nails done over again as soon as possible. On top of that they are expensive for the neighborhood. It’s convenient because its close to my job but I’m not coming back here again. I will just wait until I get back to Brooklyn where it is cheaper and they do a better job!

This place has changed ownership a few times in the last 10 years. I dislike the signs on the tables asking for tips to be in cash. As far as I’m concerned, the patron should decide the tender. I keep returning because its the most hygienic option in my neighborhood. My advice is to be clear and firm with what you want and don’t forget to bring cash because they prefer that.

I came here a few times for a manicure/pedicure and they were ok. Last time I went was my last. The girl who did my nails cut me when trimming my cuticles and painted my nails very sloppy. I asked if they can repaint them and a lady who is somewhat i charge said it was the color that makes it that way. I explained the application was sloppy so I would like to pick a different color and have them repainted. Words were said in her language and she said I would have to wait a few minutes which turned into 20. Mind you I had already paid and tipped the girl well even though it was a bad job. They got someone else to repaint them and even when I said thank you after, the girl didnt say anything but got up and walked away. Very rude and have not been back since May 2013.

And add a star here. I was in desperate need for waxing on the brows and underarms. I went here because I needed something close to home and there was no way I was going back to Wong and spend my evening unable to let my arms fall to my side. The lady did a great job on my eyebrows and cleaned up my pits with two quick, minimally painful strokes. Yay!
