This has been my primary care physician for much of my adult life so I don’t have too much to compare it to, but the strengths and weaknesses are pretty clear. Hate calling the Dr.‘s office and dealing with awful wait times? This is the doctor for you. At most, I have been put on hold for a 2 – 5 minutes, but I am usually able to get right through to a receptionist. Hate preparing to schedule an appointment and just knowing that that appointment won’t be for weeks? This is the doctor for you. I’m always able to get an appointment scheduled within a week from my calling. Love technological advances? You should probably go elsewhere. I’m not a doctor so I’m uncertain what their legal/practice limitations are, but I sure would love not having to be constantly asked to come in face to face to receive results/updates or the office’s willful treatment of e-mail as non-existent. Classism/racism/general negative-isms and wildly biased assumption making not your thing? Definitely go somewhere else. Despite my educational background/current occupation I have dealt with more than my share of… interesting/wholly unasked for observations from this doctor. If you really value being able to make last minute appointments and can deal with the drawbacks outlined above, this is a satisfactory place to go. To this point that’s been okay for me, but… I’m actively looking to switch because there’s only so many off-color remarks a person can stand.
