Matty Triano Service Station

Matty has taken care of two of my cars. Doesn’t try to add things to your bill. Doesn’t use that vague «recommended» service line. Will tell you the truth, then service your car at a reasonable price. A good guy taking care of the neighborhood. A trusyworthy mechanic, which is very rare.

This is the second time my husband has brought my car to this mechanic for new brake pads and no joking a week later my car doesn’t start. I will be filing a complaint to the better business bureau this time. Desperate for a New York State inspection. My husband brought my car to him November third for the same reason. The only reason why he keeps going to him is because he’s up the block. and laugh at this he passed my car and it stopped work seven days later. My other car I brought to him was also in good condition and needed the brake pads changed. a few days later it stopped starting also. He’s a joke for a mechanic. Don’t go against my advice like my husband did and go to this guy I promise you your car will have problems right after he touches it. I have a trusty mechanic in Yonkers but he refused to go there because of the wait.

Friendly and professional. Matty and Mike are the type of mechanics you would want to call when your car is making your frown lines go all crazy from worry. Matty has always been thorough explaining what needs to be done, the cost and straight shoots so i don’t feel like i’m getting fleeced due to my ignorance. The oil changes here are priced well, but I have noticed a bit of a wait most of the time i’ve gone. This hasn’t been an issue for me, but I want to point out that it would be good to call ahead and just get an idea of wait times for whatever service you need before going in.

I have been going to Matty’s for years. He’s extremely helpful and always quotes the best price of any of the repair shops in the area. I’ve never had an issue with any of my repairs (have a 95 Accord) and a 2007 (Acura) and always leave feeling I got a good deal.

I’ve only been here once, but I’ll definitely be back. I needed a new radiator fan and I called a bunch of places trying to get estimates. After talking to Matty himself, I brought the car by on a saturday to have him take a look. He came out as soon as we pulled up, popped the hood, and talked me through everything. He then gave me a very reasonable estimate (up to $ 200 cheaper than other places I’d talked to) and said he could have it ready in a few hours, which he did. It was so quick, and he made sure I had all the warranty info for the part before I left. I didn’t feel like he was trying to rip me off, and he took the time to talk to me about everything. A great experience!
