Been going here for over 15 years. Any time I am back home, I pay my respect and indulge. At 3 $, it is the largest and most tasty slice there is. Use to be a 1.50 but there is nothing else you will want to eat after this. Service is always fast and friendly. Just walk in, and say 2 slices with 2 fingers up. Seating is comfortable and specious and it’s perfect for grabbing before getting on the train to downtown. Can easily ask them to keep it in the oven a little longer or take it out sooner to your liking. Fridge to packed with everything you want, and if you want more the corner store is like 2 doors down with a massive selection. By the time you get your drink, the pizza will be ready to be enjoyed.

The Best Pizza Everrrrrrr! Super huge slices which are equivalent to two slices lol it will definitely leave you full & satisfied. The guys making the pizza and taking your order are very friendly and respectful. I love nicks! And they’re open late so that’s defiantly a plus!

Convenient location considering they are open fairly late; as well as they are adjacent to the train station.

Con: no credit or debit; and the ATM on the property only dispenses 5 dollar bills… Weird

I had my first slice at Nick’s, early 1970s probably… it was the BEST then, and the last time I stopped in there, a few years ago, it was still the BEST. I lived in the neighborhood then, like 30 – 40 years ago, and went there almost daily with my friends… playing ball and going to Nick’s… that’s what we did ! We were so lucky to have such a great pizza shop nearby, I no longer live in NY, and there really isn’t a pizza shop anywhere in the whole state here that compares to Nick’s. Nick’s was the BEST, I miss it so much I’m heading there in the next couple of weeks. Nick’s ! The Bronx ! The best !

I’m from CA and let me just say that NYC and Nicks in particular has ruined pizza for me. First off in CA not too many places sell slices and the ones that do are usually $ 4.50 a slice so at $ 3 I am not complaining at all. My big problem is now anytime I try to eat pizza in CA I am so disappointed because its nowhere close to Nicks. I have tried a slice plain and with a different topping almost every time I come, and I can honestly say not once have I ever been disappointed ever. If you are looking for a healthy gluten free skinny pizza this isn’t the place for you, but if you’re looking for great crust, yummy sauce and cheesy deliciousness, a whole meal in one slice then this is definitely the place.

This place is amazing the pizzas are huge and the flavor of the sauce they use is amazing. it tastes like they made it from scratch. They are open ²⁴⁄₇ and it’s definitely the spot to go after a bar or club.

Conclusion: TeamPortions!!! Bang for your Buck! Alongside White Castle, the ultimate open late spot to forgive you for your sins spot! Have you ever seen a spot where the ATM shoots out $ 5 bills… how they do that!!! The epitome of NY pizza. Late night, early in the day. $ 3 covers lunch… the way it should be. Huge slices man. Damn thing be hanging off those paper plates ridiculously. Sherman Klumps style. Nothing spectacular of the pizzas itself, just a whole lot of it and enough taste of it to get the job. The cheese mannnnn damn, it is good. Been around for a long time and glad to see a spot to still be in the neighborhood whether to or from where ever you need to go.

Neighborhood staple for a few decades now. Best slices around by far. And at $ 3 a slice it better be. The ATM machine dispenses $ 5 bills, which I have never seen before and cannot fathom why someone would pay the ATM fee of $ 1.75 just to take out 5 bucks. I wonder how many people get ripped off by that. I’m taking a star away because ownership allows this to go down.

$ 3 for a huge cheese slice. What more can you ask for? Cash only and they are open late (do they even close?). I like when the owner is there because his pies seem to be bigger. This is NY pizza. Plain and simple, nothing fancy. The Sicilian slices are good and hearty also. I always try to get a cheese slice on my way to or from the 5 train. I wish they had delivery!
Also their atm is really cheap and it dispenses $ 5 bills.

Best pizza in the neighborhood and although the slices are 3 $ they are quality slices meaning they don’t skimp on cheese and size is just right– always crispy crust. The recipe has changed slightly over the years but nonetheless the best slice in this part of the Bronx.

The pizza is always great and fast service is the norm at Nicks, been eating here for the last 12 years.
I like how some people complain about the price of a slice at Nicks, it’s comical.
Cheaper does not make it better.
This establishment has been feeding the people in the neighborhood for 30+ years.
You cannot sell an inferior product and last this long in this business.

I’ve been coming here for over 30years. I grew up in the neighborhood & went to Jr High School with Nicks younger sister.
The style & taste of Nicks pizza hasn’t changed much to me. I mean I still love it immensely and still call it the best pizza in New York City!
I don’t care what anyone says.$ 3 and all that ;-)

Basic pizza, but very over priced! $ 18.50 for a small pepperoni. The pizza itself was not that good. A little soggy, a lot greasy and pretty chewy. I really wouldn’t go back. There are better places out there.

Ok I am bias I grew up eating Nicks so I love there pizza great taste lots of cheese very classic NY slice of pizza they been there since the 70’s making pizza so they are doing something right.

Classic new york style pizzeria. Classic like it feels like you stepped into a movie classic. Old school booths, ancient cash register, gumball machines that you can win free prizes in if you’re lucky… pretty cool idea in my opinion.
I can’t get over how BIG the slices are here. Big like if I bought 2 for myself, I’d be making excuses halfway through the second slice to avoid saying I can’t finish it. Kinda pricey, but I enjoy it.

I have ordered alot of things from here in the past. Love their Sicilian slice though but the over all experience here I can’t say it 5 stars anymore. I was here last week. Meat and Cheese calzone was just ok. Slice with Spinach can work though if you come here. Toppings are $ 1 extra to add to the slice.

My gf loves there Sicilian slice, however I’ve had it numerous times and wasn’t a big fan of it. Everyone’s review here is right there pretty expensive for Bronx pizza and there service isn’t to polite.

I didn’t enjoy this pizzeria. Their menu lacked, the employees weren’t warm, the place wasn’t tidy, the area was inconvenient, and I don’t think it’ll improve anytime soon. I rather visit another place for pizza.

$ 3 a slice? Sorry but this isnt the city. In fact, the city is cheaper. This spot was good. Its been a neighborhood staple for years until they sold the place.
Unless its life or death, stay away.
