Pier 1 Imports

Pier 1 is a great place to go to find reasonably priced home décor and this location has a really great selection of items. They could, however, work on their customer service. For several minutes there was only one cashier and she was quite busy with a patron, so the line began to form. However, the location of the «line begins here» is so discreetly placed there’s no way for anyone to see it. It’s *several* feet away from the registers and hanging from the ceiling, which wouldn’t be an issue if it weren’t obscured by all the décor items piled almost ceiling high around it. No one could see that sign. So when we were snarkily told where we should all be standing to line up, we all were just like «…okay…».
We also then noticed another silver sign placed atop a glass side table, surrounded by other décor items — so also pretty much invisible. For a home design store, something as simple as a visible, more obviously placed «line starts here» sign should be a no-​brainer. But I guess not. They should definitely work on that.

This store is amazing. In any area a Pier 1 always has the most unique and classy pieces for your home. I walked in and didn’t know where to begin. They already had fall and holiday items out and ready. Lots of pumpkins, Halloween decorations and Christmas decorations. I find it hard to compose myself when I’m in this store. I don’t even walk through the left to the right I bounce every where.
The products here are quality products and the price point is appropriate. Everything isn’t expensive it varies. You can find anything from a candle to a wreath to furniture to paintings to rugs to mugs. :-)
Sales people… Hmmm. There’s none. Just the cashier. Allison or Annette :-/​can’t remember cause she wasn’t very helpful. I’m really big on customer service. And she had zilch. High five! The security guy was very friendly! Kudos to you!

Friendly service, very helpful. Plays great dancing music and overall the store is neat and organized
