Prego’s Pizza

Prego’s is a friendly neighborhood Pizzeria. Great staff, great food (Fresh Salads) could get a little crowded during weekdays after school dismissal but overall Thumbs Up!

If i could give this place zero stars i would. I ordered today 3÷7÷16. The delivery guy came to the door arguing that he doesnt come to the door because these are projects why didnt we answer the door. He refused to take the money for the food and just proceeded to argue. I called the store back and the owner kept insisting this is projects but mind you his business is located around projects. That is discriminating because projects are across the street. Like im trying to rob the guy when i was giving him the money and he refused to take it. The owner said his guys get robbed and jumped around this area. Its 12pm broad day light. His delivery guy came to my door arguing with my husband and even called him a fat dumbass in spanish. So if his guys get beat up and robbed i know why because they are disrespectful and come to argue. Also this is a business as i told the owner he can google us.

Really good but cheap pizza! The people are so friendly and such jokesters. I went with my boyfriend at about 2:30 since that’s the time we get out of school. Once we sat down and started eating our pizza peacefully, immature middle school kids from PS89 across the street come in and disturb the peaceful ambiance. They were so loud and immature, disregarding the many other people in the shop. Overall, the pizza is great and filling. Sadly, I was too full to finish the meat lovers slice.

Yumm. Their pizza is great but their garlic knots are better. I go here with my sister and best friend all the time. The pizza is $ 2.50, garlic knots are $ 1.50 for 6, and their marinara sauce is .50 The only thing that bugs me is the workers creepy eye contact. They literally stare into your soul. Wonderful lol. I recommend.

I’m a Postal Worker and float around the Bronx, but when I come to this area, this is where I eat @. I never have a problem and always satisfied. The manager is so nice and remembers his customers. I nearly had every slice and made to order fresh burgers. I’m a fan of Preggo’s, food is savory and memorable.

Mmmmm. As it’s been noted their pizza is great. Affordable, affable, and tasty.
Pregos’ Pizza – So good it’ll knock you up!

I’ve been here numerous times now, and have been generally satisfied with the service and food quality. Pizza from here is very good. I recommend their mushroom slices (mushrooms are cooked and seasoned with garlic before being put on the pizza). However, their meat lovers pizzas tend to be wayyyy too salty for me. And as much as I love mozzarella sticks, their breading tastes like dog biscuits. Still, they make kickin’ hero sandwiches and their pasta dishes are solid.

Another great (real) NY Pizzeria, prices are below average
while taste and portions are well above average, with many
specialties offered.
The owner will also have many Balkan (Albanian) specialties
at his brand new eatery next door very soon. So drop on by
and enjoy some good food.
The owner is usually on the premises and is a fine gentleman
and a asset to the community he serves.

The staff &owner are really nice food is awesome the cheeseburger are great baked ziti pizza everything is great but every single time i order the food by phone it comes burnt like my burger looked like coal and pizza too and it waste my tine and theirs.

Love this place. This is my go to place for pizza. I have been eating pizza here for 14 years and I have never complained once. The owner Joe is an awesome character and insures every visit is worth it. He also makes it his business to remember you and make you feel as a friend instead of a customer…

Love their tomato sauce, especially for the mozzarella sticks and garlic knots. Great pizza. I love their shrimp parmigiana hero.
The staff and the owner are great. They are also great to the neighborhood, in support of the local elementary school and church. They engage with the customers and the prices are reasonable. I stop in whenever I get the chance.

I prefer Domenick’s on Allerton but they don’t deliver. Prego’s isn’t bad. It satisfies the urge. Their garlic knots however, are fantastic!

Not bad. Not great.
I had a white slice which was decent, but didn’t blow me away. If I’m in the neighborhood, I’ll go, but I won’t go out of my way to.

pretty average pizza place, nothing out of the ordinary,
prices are modest, the place is pretty small and cozy. It’s a popular joint for the locals. This place is pretty much what pizzerias should look and feel like.
I give it four stars since this place is very dear to my heart;
this is where I first had NY pizza, and where I fell in love with all things pizza related (including pizza-​flavored chips, and to some degree, Italian food)
