I wanted the laser scar removal treatment. I first went in for a consultation. I wanted the treatment done on my lower leg and the owner told me it was $ 89. When I got there the technician started with the back half of my leg. I complained several times that the laser was too hot and it was burning. Each time they lowered the setting but it it still felt extremely hot. It literally felt like patches of fire was being put on to my leg. She finally put it on the lowest setting but informed me that since it was on the lowest setting it wouldn’t be very effective and it still burned.
After she finished the back of my leg I turned over so she could do the front. Before she started she told me that the front was considered a separated area and would be another charge of $ 89. This was not explained to me in the consultation or before I started. I didn’t want to pay for another treatment so I just left with half of my leg done.
I later contacted the owner through txt and told her that the treatment hurt and I didn’t know that it only covered half my leg. Had I known that I would have opted for the front of the leg since that’s where most of my scars are and I barely have any scars on the back of my leg. Her response was that she wished I said something to the tech and she has other services for scar removal. I don’t know why she said that because I told the tech the entire time that it hurt.
Later I noticed two burn scars on the back of my leg later in the day. They came from the laser as they are the same exact size and shape of the tool the tech was using. I sent the owner a picture of it and told her that the laser burned me. Her response was that the laser was too hot for my skin and to keep it moisturized. Then offered to look at it in two weeks.
I left there feeling like I wasted my money and now it saddens me to have more marks on my skin than I had before I got there, to the point of being in tears.
