You know a hair salon is garbage when the hair colorist asks you what colors make brown dye like you’re the one who’s the professional. I came in for brown lowlights and walked with with uneven wonky red lowlights over blonde hair. Wtf? It was disgusting and heartbreaking. The brown was a red purple odd tone. I was totally used for my Money and my hair looked better before I came into the salon. The rushed me in to simply take my money. I know something was wrong when the stylist was asking me what colors to mix to create brown like I was would know? I should feel confident and trusted when I have my hair worked on. I gave them a benefit of a doubt but was wrong. I was devastated how my hair turned out, I took my hair to sanelas on McLean Ave when she took the time and care to actually deliver the results I wanted while trying to clean up the mess trendsetters made. Sanelas actually gave a shit about my hair and took time and care was professional and delivered the results I wanted. (If your from the area, i highly recommend her salon). Mary, the head stylist at trendsetters knew my hair looked like absolute crap and waa trying to tell me it looked good. You mean my now purple red highlights when i wanted soft brown. They do not put any personal attention into your hair. Please please please, if you’re going to spend money on quality hair salon look elsewhere. The salon is also very small and jammed, not cozy at all. The seats are uncomfortable. Don’t waste your time and money on this place like I did. If you want white trash hair then come here.
