The workers were extremely sociable and helpful. They gladly assisted with moving in and out. The location is convenient and the price for the unit was decent.
On the downside, although I signed a contract, I was berated by an irate manager who required that I pay a full month’s storage when I was moving out (a day after the required date). Ideally, I would have liked to pay for a late fee instead of paying a full month’s worth, but the manager refused to answer any of my questions.
Also, the prices of boxes and shipping tape is well above the average for the location. I would not recommend buying their items. U-​haul offers similar items for a fraction of this price and their products are re-​usable and environmentally friendly.
Albeit, my storage unit was safe and my items went untouched, I would think twice before going back to Tuck-​it-​away, especially since my encounter with the manager. Maybe you will have better luck.
