I’ve been coming here for over 5 years and Dr. Gary Fishman is a pretty good doctor if you get him on a slow day. On days like Saturday’s where they book too many people, the doctor literally spends two minutes with you. This is extremely unacceptable after waiting almost 2.5 hours. I arrived half an hour early for my 11am appointment today and wasn’t seen by Dr. Fishman until 12:44pm. My eyes are perfectly healthy yet he told me to come back in May for a checkup??? Unfortunately I will not be coming back here as this isn’t the first time I experienced a long wait like this. There are plenty more doctors in the Bronx and Manhattan who I can give my hard earned money to. It seems that they’re all about squeezing as many people in so they can get more money.
Positives: You can also buy eye glasses there.

I’ve come to Dr. Fishman because one night my friend goes BOOM! With her finger in my eye. Directly in there. It’s as if my eye had a runaway for that finger. Needless to say I ran to my main doctor who referred me to Dr. Fishman. This guy patched me up great. I can still see! His staff is cool and of you’re early, you get seen quickly. The wait is a bit rough but at least parking is ample. I think Dr. Fishman is qualified. Anyways he also made me feel at ease every time. The office is clean and high tech. He’s cool too. Very qualified from all the certifications he’s rocking on his wall. Hopefully they’re not printed inkjet diplomas.
