America’s Best Value Inn

Stayed here about a week a half ago. Pricing is great; definitely one of the cheapest around. The room had all of the necessary amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, wi-​fi, complimentary breakfast that I didn’t end up trying). The wi-​fi worked pretty well– connected on my iPhone just fine but had trouble connecting to my sister’s laptop for some reason. There were no bed bugs or rodents and the receptionist desk was competent, though not the friendliest.
The major issue here was clean linen. We had a room with two full sized beds. Both beds had bits of hair (like eyelashes) on them which that was disgusting and I had to spend some time taking that off. Then, when I went to get into my bed I noticed two major, BIG brown make up like stains. I called the front desk and the lady did not seem surprised or concerned and told me casually that the house keeping was gone for the day and that she’d get back to me– she never did. I then went downstairs to see her a couple hours later thinking something would come out of it. Next day, I got back in my room expecting to see clean sheets and it was the same stained comforter on bed. I then took the comforter down to the front desk and (finally) the receptionist Tamra working that day did something– she went down to the laundry room to get me a clean comforter. This one also had a stain, but a smaller one and it smelled freshly cleaned. No one was super apologetic. As I was checking out, I explained the issue I had regarding the clean linen and their best offer was to give me $ 10 dollars off my three night stay.
I understand it’s an inexpensive hotel and I certainly wasn’t expecting anything fancy; however, one of the things I was expecting was clean linen and at least for the staff to pretend to give an ish when I told them of the problem. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Woke up with bug bites all over my body. The wifi signal is nonexistent half the time. And the breakfast sucks. Acidic orange juice, bagels and no cream cheese with one type of cereal. Lady at the front desk with big hair and lots of makeup doesn’t smile at all and just doesn’t seem nice. I was here just a week ago and my room was not this bad. I even had a microwave last time. But this time: bed bugs and no microwave. NEVER COMING BACK.
