Ace Tree Movers & Nursery

Ace moved six large river birches from one spot to another on my property. They did not stake the trees, even though they are very tall but have relatively shallow roots. A week later one of the trees fell over. They did come and upright it and put two stakes in it, but not in the proper positions. A month later two of them fell over. I called and emailed the owner and asked when he could come to upright them. No response. I tried for a week to get a response, and all I was asking was if he was going to come and take care of it or if I needed to hire someone else to do it. Never did get the courtesy of a response either way. Very poor followup customer service. I had to pay someone else to come and take care of this, and was advised that trees that large should have been staked. There were large gaps around the trees which the person I hired had to fill in. Very disappointing. I wish I had read the earlier review before hiring him. Sounds all too like our experience.

Contracted with this company for purchase and installation of 25 cherry trees, with drainage, at a cost of $ 14,375.00. Ace has refused to return to the property to correct problems, per contract provisions, and fulfill terms of the contract, thus endangering the trees in the contract. Mike Cunningham, the owner, will not answer or return phone calls. Necessary to take legal action. Suggest you do not use this company.
