Amazon Tan

I got a spray tan to rival all actual tans I have ever had. I was worried about looking orange, but I looked awesome.

Okay.
I don’t tan. I don’t (you know, the skin, the cancer, etc). However. I wanted to try spray-​tanning for my wedding. I read up on it, did some research, and settled on Amazon mainly for location and some of the decent reviews here.
First, the lady who did my tan always seemed so distracted, like she would rather be somewhere else. I know we all have bad days, but this happened twice (yes, I went back once after the first time, figuring it would get better…) She was nice enough, however, which helped some, and in the end, she really did make me feel comfortable while stripping down to be sprayed with nasty bronzer goop.
The facility did seem okay — basically how I would imagine any spray-​tan place to be, but again, I am not a frequenter of such places. So, who knows…
My main issue was that both times, I came out with dark hands. The first time, she said I should have wiped it off a bit better, so the second time I tried this, and it just left streaks of light in a sea of dark. Maybe it was just my hands, but i felt there should have been a better fix than «wipe it off a bit better».
Anyway, Average. I’m not saying I wouldn’t try again if I was needing a tan, just only if I would be wearing gloves most of the time :)

Groupon massage was a nightmare!!! It doesn’t say that the massage is a relaxation massage only. She wanted to charge me an extra $ 20 for pressure. It smelled like curried potatoes in the room. I could hear everyone else’s conversations in the tanning portion of the building. She walked in on me while I was changing and didnt leave. While I finished changing she remade the massage table but didn’t change the sheets or face protector for the next person who was waiting in the hall… Disgusting! And to top it off she asked for a tip and then proceeded to count it in front of me. I do not recommend this!!!
