Something tells me this place is no longer in business. My husband and I used Elliott’s Floor Store to have a new(tile) kitchen floor installed. We decided when the time came to replace the existing floor, we wanted to get something NICE and were willing to pay the extra money to get something good, so we were sure it would have a good warranty and last a long time. The service we received while picking out the tile was fine, and the owner(Greg?) even came to measure out our kitchen himself. However, when the time came to install our floor, the guys they hired out to do the job were anything but. They arrived late, and left a mess. Also, not a huge sticking point, but a little over two weeks prior to our floor being installed, the owner was on the morning news touting the ‘fresh baked cookies’ they provide to every customer. My husband, being a cookie fanatic, asked about the cookies twice and we never got any — he kept promising and we never got any. Boo! I am a little perturbed to find out they are no longer in their location on 124th,(no one really knows if they are in business anymore or not) as we paid extra for the floor warranty. If we have to do anything with the warranty on our floor, I’m not entirely sure how we would even go about that. All in all, if they did go out of business, I’m not entirely surprised. I didn’t get a huge vote of confidence after we had our floor installed — no follow up, nothing. If we have the chance again we will go elsewhere.
