Health Hut

The reason I give health hut Brookfield a one star rating is because of their terrible customer service! I was in there with my happy two year old son, who loves shopping. All of the employees made me feel very uncomfortable and looked at me like I do not belong there. If looks could kill, both myself and my son would be dead! Never in my entire life have I ever felt like this! I have 2 boys who are respectful and have gone everywhere with us since the day they were born. Everyone has always told us how good they are! I have never been back since this day! I will forever boycott health hut Brookfield because they are not family friendly and their customer service is the worst of its kind. I now take my business to Goodharvest, woodmans and fresh and green market. All of these businesses appreciate my money and are very friendly and helpful! May I add that my family consumes all organic so this store is missing out on hundreds of dollars every month by us.
When I asked the female middle aged worker with dark hair if there was a problem she said to me «I don’t know, is there»? I asked her if she had a problem with my son being in the store and she refused to look at me! I told her that she had horrible customer service and tag I would never return! If I am not welcome to shop in a store with my family then I refuse to shop there. I mentioned to her that I worked in a well known hospital and If I treated anyone with the care she gave us that I would be fired! I provide great care and customer service and I expect it when I am the customer, point blank. We are very nice and respectful to everyone that we come in contact with. This is how we raise our boys too! All he was doing was counting the boxes of cereal out loud! I think that is awesome for 2 years old! We are constantly learning even at the grocery store! Very disappointed that I can never return but I will refuse to be treated like this. I have never, ever, ever, seen anything like this in my entire life! My boys are now 4.5 and 3 years old. I have never had another experience in any store ever again.
Ms Gail at fresh and green market oconomowoc loves our boys, she is so friendly and helpful! Sorry but will not ever be back health hut! Absolutely horrible customer service there and snobby! Sorry health hut but what comes around goes around, I strongly believe in karma. Beautiful store but will never ever spend another penny there.

Wonderful selection of products. Produce was fresh and tasted great. Plenty of snack foods and assorted groceries. They had so many items I’d never seem before. The staff were kind and helpful. If I’m ever back in WI I’ll be back!

There should be more stores like these! great selection of produce and they even had vendors sampling different foods. I got to have some homemade cobbler pie as soon as I walked in the door! I wish I had a health hut near my house!!!

Vegetables are always fresh. Love this place. I only buy organic veggies at this place.

As a former employee and a frequent shopper at health stores, this place is the best. Even after I left (got a big girl job) I tried going to other places; Woodman’s, Whole Foods, Outpost, and they just didn’t match up. I feel compelled to write a stellar review so everyone knows the care and knowledge the management puts into this store.
1. All vendors are thoroughly reviewed before they are allowed to stock their product on the shelves. That includes produce which is properly and continually checked before it is stocked. They also support local farmers during the on-​season
2. They are always bringing in new foods, supporting new, local bakeries and businesses, and everything is personally tasted before it is put out (I have tasted so many items!)
3. The knowledge of the staff is overwhelming and I feel truly sorry for Adrianna that she didn’t have best experience with the cashiers. However, the owners, Rob and Lisa have over 20 years of experience with organic foods as well as supplements. They passed on their knowledge to their floor managers they can safely and confidently assist you in making the right decisions with your supplements.
4. They are cheaper than Whole Foods and Outpost with better quality in their products. Woodman’s is cheaper, but still lacking in certain selections
5. Organic wine and beer, need I say more?
Support your local health foods store, this one is a keeper.

So, I’m trying to shift to healthier eating habits and working out to offset the occasional dine out.
It seems eating healthy can be more expensive than eating unhealthy, so I spent some time exploring venues known for fresh and healthy foods.
Health Hut carries vitamins, soaps, shampoos, and other skin care products, in addition to fresh produce, organic and gluten free items.
The prices also appear lower than other stores I’ve visited.
What impressed me most, however, was the store associate who saw me wandering aimlessly and offered her assistance. When I told her the reason for my visit, she must have spent a half hour touring me through the store, making recommendations, and telling me what some of the top selling items were.
Granted the store wasn’t packed, but there were other customers there, and I certainly was not expecting this level of service.
I did purchase a couple of items, and even if I find a lower priced store, I’ll still shop at the Brookfield Health Hut.
They have coupons and specials on their website and also send them via email, so there is value to be had.
