In April of this year I was getting ready to start a major home renovation. At the urging of my contractor we hired this company to do a home energy audit. It was easy enough to schedule the appointment, which I appreciated. When the guys showed up, in the morning, to do the audit they were over 1 hour late. One of them smelled terribly of cigarettes. They sealed off the doors and prepped for the audit. The guys took between 3 to 4 hours to do the audit. When they were finished and finally left (after trying to sell us various «energy saving» things) I went around the house to tidy up if needed. There were dirty footprints all over my white bedspreads (because I guess rather than bringing in a ladder they decided to use my beds to get at the vents). There was so much dirt all over my floors that I had to basically clean my house top to bottom. There was so much blue tape left all over the house — mainly on the vents — that I was forever finding left behind blue tape to gather and throw away. I had to take my bedspreads into the cleaners which ended up costing me $ 100. I did let the office person know what happened and she was pretty horrified. She asked me to send her photos of the dirty bedspreads, which I did send her. She said that she was going to check into it and get back to me. I never heard back from her.
