Vici Capilli – Brookfield Salon

I am very disappointed with the service at this place. I best describe myself as an Afro-​Latina with curly hair. I visit Wisconsin every summer and I liked to visit this place for haircuts when I used to relax my hair. Now my hair is naturally curly. This time I wanted a color correction and I made an appointment with Erika as she was recommended to me by the receptionist. I got there an hour earlier and I was told she would see me. Erika saw me and after seeing my hair she said that didn’t have time. I mentioned I booked her basically for two hours. Then she mentioned her price (money was not a problem for me) but time was. Then she recommended Elle a GTS and she was very sweet, but didn’t know what she was doing. And I feel bad for her. The color came out not what I wanted but I can rock it out for the summer. If you have curly hair and you are black or Latina I would stay away from this place. Masters ladies don’t want to do the hard work and the students just need more experience for difficult tasks! Erika was not professional at all and I will never come back to this place! It is unfortunate that people don’t take pride in their work. I hope someone take care of this situation. Managers need to know what some of this ladies are doing.

Gianna did a great job with my curly hair, was super efficient but not rushed, and the price was more than fair, especially since it included a blowout and flat iron. She listened to what I wanted and double checked to make sure everything was perfect before I left. Gianna is a «stylist» so they didn’t ask me to do any paperwork like some other people have said, but the GTS people are graduates who are in an intensive training program under direction of a master stylist so I would be comfortable with them, too.
FYI the location is attached to the mall but has a separate entrance that is facing Fresh Market on the Bluemound Rd side of the mall.

Be prepared to sign legal documents before getting your haircut.
I just stopped in for a scheduled appointment for a haircut. I was presented with a document about a page long to sign. The first thing I said to myself is «what?, «this is a freaking haircut!». First, the text was hard to read and secondly… I’m not signing a document to get a haircut!
We’re not talking about a fancy coloring job here. This is a 19.95 haircut.
When I asked about this they said that’s in case the new stylist «cuts my ear or something»
Well, shit, if she cuts my ear they really screwed up and probably shouldn’t have the person working there. (Nothing against the stylist here this is about a poor policy).
So I increased my resolve to not sign something that makes it OK to cut my ear or perhaps bludgeoned (if that is also covered in the document I couldn’t read).
I told them no and they denied me getting a haircut.
So I got a new motto for these guys:
Vici Capelli: if we cut you it’s illegally OK
Lastly the manager handled it poorly and looked like a deer in headlights.
What is really ridiculous is I’ve been going to this place for three years and each time said «no I’m not signing a document» and it was never a problem. This idiocy just lost them a six customer family.
Hopefully more people will refuse to sign a document to get a stupid haircut.

Went in for the first time today for a haircut, Audrey was the one to cut my hair and she did a phenomenal job. Will definitely be returning. ¹⁰⁄₁₀

I have to comment that I love the work the hairstylist Reese does. I have very thick, wavy, and long hair. Most stylists have no idea what to do with it but she does a fantastic job. She’s gentle (which is hard to do with so much hair). She understands how to cut this kind of hair, and even blow dry it. Most stylists want to charge my to flat iron my hair but she is able to straighten it with just the blow dryer. She’s patient, and checks with me to make sure it is what I want. Thank you Reese!

I went to get my hair done as a part of the bridal party on Saturday June 14^th. Gianna did it! I went in not knowing what I want. She designed my longggg hair style and I just told her… emm, no. She did not have any attitude and ask what I would like to see. She did the front braid and made a messy half updo for me in the back and I love it! I can’t thank her enough. She had so much patience with me and I super duper loved how it came out. Gianna is so cute and so lovely. :) Gianna, you rock! Thank you. All the compliments I got that night all go to you.

I am the type that has a reg stylist that I love n wnt go to nebody else but I needed an emergency cut and they had an opening in a pinch so i said ok. I have to say I LOVE my new cut that Tom gave me! Its alot shorter than anticipated n the price is pretty steep… But I LOVE it cuz its cute n trendy n all my dead ends r gone! I give 4 stars because as a member of the beauty industry I must say the front desk ppl and the initial consult left much to b desired… But overall still a great experience!

I have been going to Vici Capilli for a few years now. I always get a great hair cut, and great service. They are always on time with their appointments. If you are looking for a great men’s hair cut see Joe!

they told me they will do my bangs FREE… I went there 2ce & apparently they don’t have to do them…& if they don’t feel like it THEY WON’T!

I have been having Patrick cut and color my hair here for several years. I love the job he does and get lots of compliments. There is a great selection of cosmetics, OPI polish and hair products. It won’t be long before I buy all my hair product there because everything is awesome — very top quality.

I really cannot complain about any place that gives you good service and a $ 19.50 haircut. I love my stylist Amy! She even sends me handwritten notes in the mail encouraging me to stop in, thanking me, and letting me know when there’s good coupons. I’ve only ever had haircuts and highlights. They did give me a free trial makeup application this past time… Just for fun. As much as I am satisfied with my hair I am unsatisfied times 20 by the make-​up. I was looking a fool for sure. But, on the bright side I had a great time.
This is plain and simple where I go to get my hair done. I will also admit that the minute my stylists «goes pro» I will switch to a newer, therefore cheaper, student. I like to live on the edge. My motto: Hair grows back.

Vici is a very nice place! I like how they offer you a beverage before the cut. Tara cut my hair today, and she did a great job! She seemed to already know what I wanted, which is sometimes the most difficult part. I told her to take me back 5 weeks, and she went from there. You get a shampoo, cut, and style. Tara really took it a step further:
— She rinsed me off after to get rid of most of the stray hairs. This was a first, and it was much appreciated, as I was heading back to work.
— She trimmed my eyebrows. I little thing, but it really helps keep me looking clean cut.
— She cleaned my neckline with a straight razor. Another girl did this in the past, and it is something I really like
I never have much trouble getting an appointment, and everyone at the front desk is very friendly. $ 19.50 for a men’s cut is not too bad either. I paid $ 24 total. I will be back!

This place was much better than I expected. I don’t know why I’m always apprehensive about beauty school places because I generally have had great experiences but sometimes it’s tough to quiet my inner voice singing «beauty school dropout…»
Anyway, the staff here is top notch and I was extremely happy with the results. I gave them an extra star because my hair was a disaster so I’m sure the stylist was rolling her eyes way back in her head when she saw me walk in with a messy ponytail and split ends like a mother — but she was very professional and got the job done with a smile. How can you beat that?

I moved from Australia just over a year ago. During this time, I have struggled trying to find a hairdresser that could get the blonde I love and know. 3 salons later I was starting to lose hope. Two nights ago I ‘skeptically’ tried vici, UNREAL!!! Worth every cent… I don’t usually comment but I really am so happy and grateful that I tried them. I hope this helps u! Oh and their eyebrow lady is unreal and hilarious!

I was in a charity fashion this past weekend called Strut and the stylists at Vici were kind enough to donate their time and creativity by providing for all of our hair and make up needs. It was an over the top, dramatic event (what else would you expect from a group of interior designers) and they did a fantastic job with all 15 models. I got nothing but compliments the entire night and I’m sure I wasn’t the only one. I would definitely go here personally and recommend anyone needing a stylist for a special event to consider Vici as well. They are up to any challenge.

This is definitely my new place for cut and highlights in the Milwaukee area.
I am a FIB and admittedly a hair salon snob, and can never find anything that measures up to my Chicago-​area hometown salon. But the job Laura did on my hair at Vici has changed my mind. She’s fantastic!
I went in with about 3 – 4 different ideas of things for my hair, and Laura, in her first time doing my hair, quickly sorted through the chatter to decipher exactly what I wanted. She proceeded to give me such a fab cut and color that I’m STILL rocking it 3 months later. It’s grown out beautifully, the sign of a bang-​up job.
She gave my long, naturally brown hair enough movement and brightness to win me over. I’m hooked!
It’s not cheap, in fact, it’s about expensive as my Chicago-​area salon. But worth the money for the excellent work. I’ll also say the location is rather outdated and frumpy. They need a remodel for sure. But the results are what really counts, and they give great ones.

Went for a last minute bikini wax with Rebecca. Not good, looks fine now but the process took 45 painful minutes!!! I have had plenty of waxes and they have been fine, not like I’m new to major waxing services. She is new and needs more practice. Even when I told her I had enough she kept adding more wax. When I came home I STILL had wax on me and lots of it. Just weird and wrong. I will never return.

I’ve been going to Vici for over 7 years, and I have no intention of ever switching salons. These stylists are incredible! Every one I’ve ever had has been great! I’ve been going to JoHanna for over 2 years now — she’s exceptional. They also have great promotion discounts such as get X number of haircuts and get one free, spend X amount of money on hair products and get a gift card, etc. The atmosphere is also quite relaxing, and the offer for a beverage before your cut is a nice touch. In addition, the complimentary head, neck and shoulder massage before your haircut is incredible. It’s probably the best perk about this place, besides the fantastic haircuts, of course. Your money will be well-​spent here.

I have been going here for the past 6 years and I always come out with FANTASTIC results! Vicky is my hairstylist and she is beyond amazing! She works wonder on my very thick and curly hair. I moved to Chicago a few years ago and have yet to find anyone else that will compare, so I continue to drive to Brookfield every few months to get my hair done by my favorite stylist!
