I brought a bike that I found on a construction site to east end bikes… I’ve never been before … Right away I was impressed Ron greeted me and was knowledgable … Even though I just needed something simple for them… They offered to clean it up and fix gears besides fix my pedel! I explained that I really didn’t want to put too much money into it… Long story short. My p.o.s bicycle is like brand new. For very little money! So happy thankyou east end !! Courteous and very knowledgable !!

I always prefer to try and frequent local business in my community first. This is my second bike purchase from East End in the past 2 years. They are local, the owner is extremely knowledable and friendly and trys his best to make recommendations that work for you and not for him. They have a great selection and great customer service. Could I have found both of my bike purchases slightly cheaper someplace else? Maybe, but I would not have received the same level of customer service I am sure.

Firstly — I do not know if this shop rents bikes. Unilocal’s menu process is cumbersome at best. Secondly but more importantly — This is a very helpful bike shop in Eastern Long Island. To shorten a long story, I wanted to replace some tires on 2 ancient cruiser bikes. The bike shops in Westhampton and Southampton were charging a 400% markup. Yep-er-oo 400% markup. At East End, the price was fair. The East End staff was super helpful, friendly, and QUICK.(It’s what is generally known as customer service — apparently a long lost art.) Their selection leans mostly to mountain bikes and kids bikes. But I’m sure they could order any Trek or Gary Fisher product for you. The also carry skate boards. In summary, if you want to save a bundle compared to the Hamptons’ bike shops, then hop in your car and cruise over to Shirley where you won’t be taken for a ride.
