Sunday morning craziness can be expected at any Wawa, however what should not be expected is to overhear two of the employees making fun of, insulting, and referring to customers as vultures. This was the conversation I had the misfortune to hear as I approached the counter to grab a quick breakfast sandwich. The two Wawa associates engaged in the conversation were oblivious to the fact that they were surrounded by the very customers they were insulting, the same customers who are responsible for paying their salaries in essence. I put my sandwich and newspaper back and headed home to make my own breakfast.

This Wawa is always PACKED and people are coming & going. Decent restrooms and a reliable place to get coffee, food etc. No issues.

I get my coffee here about 15x a year and my gas. Parking is pretty bad out front so drive around back. Its safer to walk back there too. I’m a little sad that Wawa has changed so much. I used to run in to grab things I found at the grocery store but they basically carry nothing in that vein anymore. You can’t even get sliced lunch meat. Got away from«CORE» business in favor of gas and coffee. Ok. Well then that’s what I go here for when I am in the neighborhood.

I have to give 3 stars because of the sub par performance of the employees at this location. Some blonde girl insulted me by basically acting like it was my fault that I had to drive all the way back to wawa to have my order fixed because my turkey hoagie didnt have a slice of turkey on it. She was the idiot who made a hoagie without meat on it and wasn’t willing to admit it. She acted rude to me and never once said anything along the lines of we are sorry about that how can we fix it for you. All she did was tell me «who would make a sandwich and forget the meat» sarcastically… Well it was you! The same blonde girl that I have to overhear having inappropriate conversation with co workers behind the deli counter and for all customers to listen in on. Another guy behind the counter was rude to me when I needed help ordering extra cheese on my sandwich because the screen never asked me for some reason. Then I smiled and said thanks when I got my turkey sub and he looked at me, frowned, then turned away. What rude people these wawa workers are. The positive things about this wawa is that it is usually never hard to get in and out quick. They have several gas pumps. Parking is in front and back and they have free air for your tires. The guy who rang me up was friendly at least.

I’m afraid I may be joining the cult of Wawa that they seem to have here in Pa. It’s a Wawa with a gas station, which is unusual up here. Ummmm, what else can you say about Wawas? Wow, I feel like this is a useless review. I mean, they all pretty much have the same thing. Clean and new, staff as nice as at any gas station, really.

This is a fairly new Wawa that opened up as the old one three blocks away closed down. It is reminiscent of a Sheetz rather than a Wawa. Old Wawas were smaller but totally stocked. Their new business model is something I probably need to get used to… Yes, large, wide aisles and a gasoline service included but with much less stock than the old Wawas. I used to think of a Wawa as an alternative to a grocery store. Their new model has me going to both places. Mmmmm…
