okay here is the deal, read all the reviews but this is my experience relating to the red carpet inn off the circle near westville but it’s located in brooklawn new jersey here it goes Unilocal readers ! it’s a haven for the less then desireable people you can tell just by driving by on Route 130 but if your on a budget this is unfortunaly a place to stay my stay here was first greeted by a troll of a front desk clerk with a smug attitude to prospective customers coming from the back room you see him through this long bullet proof glass he looks as at you as if you have disturb his sleep his manners are horrendeous curt and rude so we(my lady and me) decided to stay for 3 days 2 nights at $ 110.00 sounds reasonable right(think again) first the room looks clean bed queen size seems comfortable right honey i said non smoking room looking good as(the late freddie prince would say) all wrong first the bed even though it was comfortsble you will sink in it like the titaniac, second the bathroom i seen more space and room in a porta potty the shower is like a square box of ceramic tiles from the disco era the shower is so small you dont have enough room to change your mind less alone wash your ass good and proper and third the most disgusting issue with this(inn as they call it in brooklawn nj) roaches came out late at night in the bathroom so what do you think i done at this point yes that is right leave my lady and i got the hell out of that dump and went to another(hotel). only this one was a lot nicer then the red carpet inn of brooklawn nj so the moral to this review if you and your family are driving late at night on route 130 and you happen to be close to a variety of local accommodating motels and hotels nearby don’t choose the red carpet inn of brooklawn nj it truly is a refugee camp for professional street walkers, drug dealers, strange characters, and the rest of the people i seen staying there i wouldn’t want to know there background this place is truly only about getting you money they don’t care about who stays there because it definitely shows if i could give this place a rating of zero stars i would but unfortunately on Unilocal that’s not possible because giving any place a review it requires at least one star to post your comments on the red carpet inn of brooklawn nj motel conditions for overnight guest are equal to if not close to staying overnight at a sewage plant without the hazmat protection suits … later people

BEDBUGS!!! STAYAWAY!!! I wouldn’t give this motel one star if I didn’t have to. On the weekend of January 9, 2015 in room 106 I was infested with bedbugs. I have a bald head and it looks like a minefield. My body is covered with bedbug bites. This place is absolutely disgusting. I knew it wasn’t the Taj Mahal when I got there but I needed a place and it seemed like it would do for a night or two. One of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made. This is just a drug infested hotel. There was crazy shit going on all night long. Just stay away far far away

Stayed there one night and it looked like a murder scene. Looks like caution tape was just took down. There was bloode splattered on the wall and floor also the bathroom. It was absolutley foul!

«Well, most recently, there’s room 309, there’s this scary Mexican gangster dude poking his finger in my chest. There’s his hooligan kids snapping their fingers at me. There’s a putrid, rotting corpse of a dead whore stuck in the springs of the bed. There’s rooms blazing afire. There’s a big fat needle from God knows where, stuck in my leg, infecting me with God knows what. And finally there’s me, walking out the door, right fucking now. Buenas noches. « — Four Rooms This is how my experience was. 2 stars because getting a hotel IN Philadelphia for $ 150+ seemed silly when this place was so close and only 1⁄3 of that.

There is very little that is good to say about this place. For one thing, it’s on one side of the road, and you constantly have to loop around to get to it.(That’s New Jersey for ya, though.) There are dangerous stairs down into the rooms that the staff does not warn you about; my friend twisted her knee by falling into the dark room the first time we entered. The room was plenty BIG, but it was kind of scary. I counted a total of 13 cigarette burns(we had asked for a non-smoking room, the desk lady«couldn’t remember» if ours was or not), there were no hangers in the closet, the bathroom was moldy and gross(not to mention the dead spiders on the floor), the water in the shower took a while to heat up, the captions on the TV barely worked, etc. etc. I think our«neighbors» must have had mental disorders… we heard random yelling in the middle of the night. There were definitely folks staying who had been here a while. Of course you have to pay up front, presumably so you don’t run out on the bill, but that keeps you from leaving to find a better place. The Days Inn up the road looked much more inviting… and I never thought I’d say that about a Days Inn! It gets the extra star for the free, fast, and easy wi-fi.
