Great neighborhood breakfast bagel and coffee place. My sandwich was made by Kaijahna. She was very helpful and made my sandwich just as I asked — and I was a little picky! I definitely recommend this place.

I have been coming here for many years. Love this location, except the free wifi service has been progressively gotten worse, until it finally is NOT working at all!!! I have reflected this to the management, but not sure if it is even their concern.

Overcharged me for bagel and cream cheese with meat, even after managers attention was brought. Whatever. Menu clearly says prices, too early to argue that I’m normally charged $ 2 – 3 less for a bagel!

I have been going to this location for the better part of 2 years. Everything was great — service, food, coffee. But, they have changed the management and the staff. The service has gotten painfully slow and the counter staff has become very impersonal — almost cold to the customers. This morning at 630 am I went in to get a bagel and coffee. The girl behind the counter walked past me and the two women in front of me 3 times without acknowledging any of us. I asked the women in front of me if they had been helped and they said I was the first one to speak with them. So I walked out. It will be very hard to back — I might not! It’s unfortunate that this locations service slipped so quickly into the dumps!

The food has anything in special. But this store has plenty of space, isn’t packed as Panera and the price is fair.

The upsides: lots of room to sit, not crowded, not noisy, ample plugs. The downsides: staff couldn’t wait for their day to end, seemed exasperated and appeared to have low morale. My impression is that this place could invest better in their workers. The atmosphere also seemed kind of depressing and not very upbeat inside. Probably not the most inspiring spot to work on your laptop.

Honestly wasn’t anything special. Bagel was good, but not great relative to what’s near by. Sandwich was fine, but a bit pricy. Nice place to relax though. Open space with lots of tables.

This former Brooklynite turned Bostoner is always on the lookout for a decent bagel in New England. It’s hard to do, but Bruegger’s ain’t bad! Lots of bagel varieties, a healthy selection of flavored schmears to choose from, and generally good service. Bruegger’s is a good bet when you’ve just gotta have a bagel in Boston.

The bagel and coffee were very good, but a bit over priced. Be sure to read the entire parking sign behind the building! I only read the top portion, not the part that car will be towed. Towing company must wait around the corner. What a shady business. Car was towed while i was in line! Thankfully the parking attended across the street called the store and had them announce it. $ 90 cash to unhook car. What a scam.

The coffee, bagels, and customer service is one of the best around! I’m a bottomless cup member and it’s totally worth the money if you live close by. The staff is always cheerful, polite, and speedy and the atmosphere is nice for breakfast or to sit and get work done. Highly recommended!

The best thing about this place was the service and space to sit and relax. The bagels were mediocre and coffee was quite horrible.

I am not sure if I am brainwashed or what, but Bruegger’s is the best. No matter which one that i g to, I always have a great great experience. Even though at this location that often is a line, however the line moves relatively fast. Besides, the line is worth it. The best part is that you are guaranteed for your bagel to be fresh. Most of the time they ask if you can want it toasted since it is still warm from being fresh out of the oven… now that is my definition of fresh! This is also really cool and unique Bruegger’s because you can see them making the bagels in the bakery through the glass windows… so you really know how incredibly fresh the bagels are. Do not get turned away from the line, because the bagel is always worth it. You’ll never crave another bagel again.

I’ve been coming here the past few weeks after my barre class around the corner. My friend and I always grab at least a coffee, but usually food too. Needless to say the bagels and sandwiches here totally rock. Crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The Thai peanut chicken has turned into my go to lately when I’m here around lunch time. As a coffee addict I appreciate a place with good coffee, and Brueggers makes the cut. I usually go for the slightly sweet and nutty hazelnut. My only problem with this location is that everyone that works here is really slow. The place is never busy(I really mean NEVER, at least while I’ve been here) and yet I always have to wait forever to get my food. Sucks when I get out from barre and am starving, I know I’ll have to wait at least 10 – 15 minutes before I get to eat. If those that work here got a quick rundown on how to multitask and be more efficient, this place would be a lot better.

I’m surprised to say that Brueggers gets my vote for Best Bagels in Boston, in my opinion, despite so many high quality independents in the area. Crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. This is also a terrific store… friendly staff, usually keep the line going, although I did get a parking ticket once, so be careful! I think the coffee is also excellent, especially Hazelnut. Wish they had more cozy chairs.

If I could give this place a no-star, I would. I only ever order anything here if I am in a super big rush in the morning and don’t have time to run to Starbucks or Peet’s for my coffee. The coffee at Bruegger’s is a JOKE. It is so utterly bland and tasteless I might as well be drinking lukewarm water. Unfortunately, today was one of those days that reminded me why I never go there in the first place. I got a water and a small coffee, which cost me $ 4.26. Honestly, $ 1.99 for a small bottle of water and $ 2.27 for a useless cup of coffee(smaller than the Tall size at Starbucks, and not anywhere nearly as strong) are airport prices, not mediocre neighborhood joint prices. It’s basically adding insult to injury.

High traffic around 11am. You got your moms with their children, grandpa’s reading the daily paper, people grabbing their coffee and goods before getting to work. Cheerful staff saying good morning. I was a little apprehensive trying their iced coffee because I don’t drink coffee but I really needed caffeine running on 3 hours of z’s. Turned out not bad… loaded it with milk and a packet of sugar – mocha-like-concoction without bitterness. No doubt not good for health in the long run but it served it’s purpose to keep me up 12+ hours later. Their spinach cheddar breakfast bagel is pretty good. Get it toasted and the slight crunch and warmth of that breakfast sandwich will turn out delightful. Free wifi. A lot of tables spaced well apart, good replacement to the overly crowded Panera. Will come definitely come here again for more coffee: P

Bruegger’s has some of the best bagels, hands down. However — the reason I am giving this only 3 stars is because they always are out of the softwich I want — asiago parmesean! Since they’re always sold out this makes me think that it is popular so why don’t they make more?! It pains me to walk inside and see the baskt empty of asiago parmesean softwiches. And 2nd, why are they more expensive than the bagels? I’m trying to figure this out. I think I’ve become cheap in my old age but spending $ 3+ on a softwich w/cream cheese just seems like a lot! Sad. But, since it is delicious, soft, and amazing, I will do it anyway. The only other gripe I have is that sometimes the wait can be awhile and I’m not sure if they’re utilizing their staff to their full potential. But, the staff are always friendly, which I definitely can’t say about Dunkin Donuts or other places nearby. Note — don’t get the pretzel bagel, it’s weird. 1. WAY too much salt. 2. WAY too chewy. Just don’t do it. If you want a pretzel bagel, I suggest eating a pretzel and a plain bagel at the same time. It’ll be better

I’ve only been in here pre-7am on Saturdays, so take that as you will. I have, however, been here many times pre-7am on Saturdays. I am thrilled that there is a quick, good place to get breakfast pre-7am on Saturdays. I just get a bagel with cream cheese and a coffee, so I don’t know how other things are. The coffee’s not awesome, but it’s decent and comes in large quantities, which is important for pre-7am on Saturdays. The counter people are really perky and friendly for pre-7am on Saturdays, and the service is efficient. One girl even joked around with me when she thought I had ordered blueberry flavored coffee or some other such abomination. The horrified look on my face must have said it all because she deadpanned«not a fan of flavored coffee, huh?» For that kind of entertainment pre-7am on Saturdays, Bruegger’s gets my love.

A short walk from my apartment, I happen to adore this little place. I know it is a chain, which normally I wouldn’t love this much, but its convenience won me over. I haven’t tried everything on the menu, but I assure you that the coffee isn’t miserable(better than any other chain), and the bagels are delicious! I have tried the cinnamon sugar bagel, which is a yummy sweet treat. I also had an egg white breakfast sandwich on a jalapeño bagel. At other places, I have found a much more subtle taste(cinnamon raisin where you can’t really taste too much cinnamon, etc.), but the jalapeño was a kick in the mouth! Very tasty. The service was great as well! When they were out of the bagel I wanted in the basket, the woman assisting me went in the back and got me a fresh-out-of-the-oven toasty warm bagel. The parking out front is metered and free on weekends. The police to drive by this area a lot, so make sure your meter doesn’t run out, and you aren’t parked illegally. Drop by and enjoy the space and some bagels while you are in Coolidge!

The bagels are fantastic, the line and service not so much. People in Coolidge Corner sometimes don’t understand what a line is, or they don’t think it applies to them — so this place can get a little confusing when all you want is an everything bagel with some low-fat cream cheese. However, the bagels are warm, soft, and pretty darn delicious. Two favorites of mine are the Rosemary Olive Oil and the Pumpernickel. If your’e feeling a little out of the ordinary get the Pumpernickel with Chive and Onion cream cheese, sooo good.
