I had Julia take pictures at a family event. Julia is not just a professional photographer, she is a learned and skilled photojournalist. I particularly liked the following:
1. Great pictures, little fuss.
2. Flexibility: Julia won’t try to sell you things you don’t want. She will listen to you, get all the details of the gig, understand your request and deliver what you wanted — on time.
3. Punctual: she will show up in ungodly places that have no parking — on time.
4. Good balance of posed and candid shots: she knows now to strike a balance.

Julia shot our wedding over nine years ago and I still cherish every photo — even the ones that didn’t make it into our album.
She captured the spontaneous, memorable moments from our wedding day that bring a smile to my face. Funny thing is, I never even noticed that she was around taking the photos.

I returned to her for tasteful pregnancy photos a couple of years later.

Julia took photos of myself and my adorable dog Monk in the snowy backcountry. Those were challenging conditions, and the portraits were wonderful!
