Dr. Lester is knowledgeable, but unfortunately services provided are exceptionally costly relative to other comparable practices in Brookline. Dr. Lester is very keen on multiple return visits, which are seemingly unnecessary. Also, he adds pathology charges/​codes which most insurances do not cover. The office is not useful in checking with insurance codes before your visits. Go elsewhere unless you enjoy emptying your savings. I have transferred my care to another dermatologist nearby, which is even better, and the office always assist with insurance checks before treatments.
