As a BW «plus», we weren’t impressed. We had a double queen room. The lobby and halls were very hot. The linens were stained with make-up and… not sure what. The towels were stained and when held to the light, were seriously discolored. Not sure if they have a water issue or maybe they are not replacing them… either way, it was rather gross. We stayed over three nights and asked for more wash rags. We were only allowed two per day because they don’t have enough. Parking was difficult with a trailer, but we made do. WiFi was spotty… okay, it sucked! Front desk was unprofessional and made some jokes and comments to people that were not appropriate unless you were a bartender. Breakfast was gross. Folded over eggs with Velveeta cheese smothered in between. The sausage was like a McDonald’s patty… We asked about guest laundry… were told it was $ 1 to wash and $ 1 to dry(it was $ 1.50 to wash and $ 1.00 to dry, no biggie), but they were out of laundry supplies. Told to go over the bridge to Target to get some. Not being from this area, over the bridge meant nothing to me. Understandable if the supplies were not in, but the way she said it to me and where to go, it put me off. Bathroom super small. Shower very small and super slippery when wet. Shower curtain rod in bad repair. Limited outlets. TV selection was terrible and the TV volume resets to a very LOUD level each time you turn it off. On the upside, it was in a good location. Close to food and shopping. Overall, we will not stay here again.

I booked this hotel after seeing some of the latest reviews online and catching a stellar price. My husband and I had a red-eye flight, and for a minimal fee they allowed us to check in much earlier than the listed check-in time. It’s a convenient 10 minute drive from downtown Minneapolis and about 15 minutes from the airport. They offer a free continental breakfast in the morning from about 6am-9am, which was AMAZING, and helpful after flying a red-eye on an empty stomach and very little sleep. Coffee, bagels, cream cheese, muffins, tea… you name it. Check-in was quick, but throughout our stay there were periods of time when nobody was at the front desk. I had to request a late check-out and stood at the counter for about 10 minutes. They were very kind and accommodating. The rooms have been recently renovated, so everything was updated, modern and clean. There’s also a mini fridge and microwave in each room, so we were able to stock it with a few items from the local grocery store. There is also a wardrobe with an ironing board, luggage rack and a separate dresser with drawers. We were also able to print out our boarding passes up front before we left. There were only a few cons: The FIREALARM went off in the middle of the afternoon the day we got there, while we were napping to catch up on sleep. And it’s on the wall right next to the bed. It was DEAFENING. The phone in our room was messed up. We tried calling the front desk, and we could hear them, but they couldn’t hear us. The tv volume resets to a very LOUD level each time you turn it off. We enjoyed the stay, and will probably stay there again if we travel up to Minneapolis again.

For being a «Plus» this was not that at all. First room wasn’t even clean and the hallway of the 3rd floor was a sauna. The pool was shut down from some weird substance in it. The breakfast was okay. The lady that checked us in was nice but too much going on and the morning lady that checked us out was okay. Wasn’t sure about the area either…

The place is perfect when you are looking for a nice hotel not too far from downtown. Newly renovated. The staff was nice and hospitable as well. Very close to the sports complex. Cheap. Clean. Well Kept.
