I have been a customer here for more than 20 years and have had consistently good service. The doctor and the optician are both terrific. They have some new clerical workers that could use some coaching on customer service but in their defense I have seen some pretty rude customers there too. I like living just on the fringe of the City(all the benefits of being close to sports, theater, restaurants without the taxes) and want to support local business like this one(Pearle Visions are locally owned franchises) and they have been great to deal with and care about the community. Will continue to be a loyal customer.

Worst service ever. I should have walked out when the woman walked up to the rep that was assisting me, stated she had been there for 20 minutes and was just wanting to pick up her contacts. The rep informed her that they don’t sell them without an exam. The customer stated that the other rep told her they had them and to wait. The customer stormed out, as to be expected. At first I was rang up without insurance, which I stated multiple times I’d like to use. When I tried to verify she was using my insurance she was surprised that I had insurance. Probably because she was paying more attention to her cell phone than me. I tried contacts, they didn’t work. Tried another pair, they don’t work. So I call back and ask to get a weaker prescription. Can’t get in for 2 more days because the doctor isn’t there on Mondays or Tuesdays. So I asked where my glasses were. They were sent off on the 16th, its now the 27th. They told me it would take a week, they still don’t have them in. I’m so irritated with this place! A friend had a similar problem with them. I wish there was a way I could let every customer that goes here know this but Unilocal is the best I can do. FYI-the actual doctor is really good but you don’t deal with him much.
