The pizza was okay, I thought the sauce and crust was very bland and plain. Honestly I´ve had better store bought frozen pizza. My rating is mostly for the customer service. I had my pizza delivered hot and right out of oven and staff is professional.

Very let down… Expected much better from the raving reviews. Very good phone service, and very polite delivery lady. That is the only thing I enjoied… The pizza. tasted very different. Turned over my second slice, and saw why. Extremely burnt pizza. Too much cheese to melt, which is where the issue spawns from. The wings were not fresh, but frozen. Almost as Tyson from the grocery store. Much left to be desired. Good service, but the food left me hungry Edit — called, manager wasnt available. But the man on the phone said they have been very busy tonight, so he could see that happening. He appologized, and offered another delivery. I declined for I am turned off from burnt pizza. A corona will fix that Edit 2 — I would say I have a strong stomach. Just did a hot wing challenge a week ago, no issues. So please explain why I have been throwing up since 5am. Blood and all… very concerning

What a let down! After reading all these stellar reviews… I was expecting awesome… but it was just ok… actually…it was pretty awful. Very greasy, salty and the crust really hard. …would not be back.

This was a «Mom and Pop-Shop» it was okay, nothing that I would brag about, so I am confused about the«rave reviews.» If you have been to Angeno’s or Chanticlear, this pizza would be least desired. Nevertheless, something to try, but don’t get your hopes up with all of the wonderful reviews. In this case, it is all about the experience.

Meh it was ok. Actually prefer papa johns or Adagios; we got a meat lovers — the crust was like a cracker and it was pretty greasy. Probably would not rush back.

Someone who works there, has a confederate flag, and impeach(President) Obama bumper stickers on a old beat up Hyundai Elantra. When I asked if someone who worked there has a Hyundai Elantra, the cashier lied and said no one there did, and asked why. I said, oh nothing. As I was getting into my car a guy came out with the keys to the car in hand. I told him that I will never make any more purchases there because of the stickers on his car. After a heated exhange he blurted out that I was a part of the problem. I should’ve taken the pizza back and got my money back. The next day the owner called to apologize for the actions of the employee. After the call my wife told me that the employee had called our number and left a harassing message the previous night. She did not tell me that night to keep me from going back there. I called the owner back, told him about the call, and he stated he would not allow that type of activity. He said he had talked to the employee the night before and he was going to speak to him again.

I work at a local hotel and when a customer asks me were they can get a good pizza I always say scoreboard. They are not the cheapest in town but they truly are the best. Also the owner and delivery people are very friendly and professional. There ingredients are wonderful and the cheese has great flavor. When I personally order a pizza it is a treat for me and thats why I choose score board. Thanks to the score board staff.

Canadian Surfer, Italian Hoagie, Cheese garlic bread and mud pie. O.M.G.!! This was a suggestion by our hotel. Scoreboard knocked it out of the park! Food was great and the mud pie… WOWZERS! If we pass through Brooklyn Center again, we will order from here again!

My first time getting delivered pizza from them was good. The guy was fairly friendly and the pizza got here in a timely manner. Now the food, the lasagna was actually better then the pizza ! Now that’s rare for me to say, because usually I pick pizza over lasagna, but their lasagna was delicious ! Their pizza was okay. It’s extremely cheesy. Just some minor issues I had was the bread of the pizza wasn’t crispy enough. And the topping were so overwhelming that it slid right off the bread of the pizza. There was almost too much cheese to the point where it was kinda chewy and when the pizza got cold, the cheese got rubbery. It’s not a bad pizza, but it’s just what I had trouble with. The pizza is packed full of flavor and the lasagna is a must try ! Great small family business for sure!

This place is absolutely a hidden gem located in a semi-sketchy looking strip mall. After years of driving by I finally decided to give them a try. I called in for pick up and immediately experienced their excellent customer service with a very friendly voice taking my order. He could tell I wasn’t familiar with their menu so he explained their pizza styles and asked how I heard about them. When I got there everyone else was just as friendly. I was told they’ve been there 30-some years! Definitely had a family atmosphere. Then the best part, the pizza was DELICIOUS. Love it.

I grew up eating at this place during the 80s. My parents actually met eachother here. Since I left MN14 years ago this is the one place I crave! Especially their fried chicken!

Customer for life. Scoreboard took a bad situation and made it right. Just moved to MN from IA. The wife and I tend to order a lot of pizza so we decided to give Scoreboard a try. I called up the shop for delivery and things went well. The kid on the other end of the phone took my order; 1 large peperoni and an order of wings, said it would be 30−45mins. An hour and a half later no pie! I called the shop and they had no record of my order. None! After some jockeying the manager/owner got on the phone and offered to resubmit my order at no charge and even offered to credit me for a free pizza and wings when I order again. He said that he himself would deliver the pizza and would look into what went wrong. 2 hours after my original order the manager was at my front door. He was deeply apologetic and explained that the system somehow routed my order to a different address. During small talk I mentioned that this was our first order with Scoreboard. He again expressed his apologies and was on his way. Not an hour later the manager returned with a free dessert and a gift certificate for my next visit. He said we have been in business for a long time and this is not how we want to make a first impression. Wow! Talk about first class customer service. Now the food: I felt the pizza was pretty good but I prefer a few less pepperoni and a bolder sauce. Leftovers held up pretty well the next day when reheated in the oven. For me the best part was the wings. I would order them every day if I could. Cooked just right and had the perfect amount of zing. Loved em! My wife and I are looking forward to reordering. Thank you Scoreboard. You proved how a simple act of understanding and swift action to make things right can win over a customer for life. Cant wait to see you again. Just don’t take 2 hours next time.

We are lonnnnng time customers — pizza is our favorite. Tonight, I spent $ 30 on a medium pizza and wings, and asked several times to make sure the cut is square cut — we had a few kids to feed. I confirmed with two different people on the cut. It arrived wrong cut(triangle), and I called back and asked either for my money back or for a new pizza. I was denied either option since«quality» wasn’t affected. Unfortunately, me trying to cut a meaty pizza into squares for hungry toddlers was NOT ideal and did affect the quality of our meal. I was shocked at the customer service and am convinced there are new owners. We looked at our old menu compared with the new — prices increased and ownership taken off menu. We asked staff when we called to order to include a menu(for son’s elementary graduation party) but they lost the chance at that business by not caring enough about making it right tonight. Sad, because the pizza is great. If you have an important event or care about being able to customize your order, go somewhere else. If you just need a normal pizza, and don’t care about that, it’s great.

Canned sauce, poor quality cheese, flavorless dough. Horrible service. This place has to be one of the most underwhelming and overrated pizza joints I have ever had the misfortune of wasting my money in. You’d be better off ordering Pizza Hut! I only regret that I can’t give it a rating of less than one star.

It would have been nice to see a website where I can look at the menu first and figure out exactly what I wanted. I tried looking at the menus pictured here and the resolution was too fuzzy for me. I searched and got a different Scoreboard restaurant. When I called and asked if they had a website, there was so much noise in the background my question didn’t register. I was too hungry to care and made my order, though I felt I was flying blind. I asked for them to include a menu. The actual pizza was meh. They arrived on time, the toppings and size were right, and I finally got an answer about the website because it was printed on the box. I asked for light cheese, but it was still too thick for my taste. They forgot the menu. The pizza itself was ok but not earth shattering. I like my pizza thin and crisp so the toppings’ taste comes though. All I could taste was cheese and it drowned out everything else. I don’t know if I caught them on a bad night, but not being able to order exactly what I wanted kind of soured the experience.

Place is a hidden gem! They absolutely pile on the cheese! I always get the meat pizza, and I can’t speak highly enough about how good the sausage is! They also have a one topping carry out special for 10 bucks that is very reasonable! For the most part, the staff are friendly. I do ask for extra sauce at times, because sometimes they can be a little thin on it. Overall, it’s a great place and a staple of Brooklyn Center! Yay, I am, indeed a fan!

I’m from Missouri and found Scoreboard pizza while traveling. This place is amazing! The service was great and the food delicious. I wish I lived closer so as to come here all the time. The two gentlemen behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. When I mentioned I was from out of state they offered me a free piece of pizza so I get the chance to try not only the white sauce on the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza I ordered but their red sauce as well. I couldn’t believe the offer. I will definitely be back anytime I’m in the area. So if you want great service and amazing food, eat here!

Traveling across the country from San Francisco to Vermont, and we wanted some pizza. We Unilocaled, and found this place, close to our hotel. The people are great, the pizza is great, and we got some broasted chicken for the road. Ok, I grew up on broasted chicken, so when I find it these days, I gotta get me some. The flavor of the chicken was good, but it was just a bit overcooked. It made it kinda tough. Overall, would I go back? Yes, of course.

What is there to say about such a place that was fortunately located so close to my hotel? Well for starters, that it has pretty fucking great pizza! As people debate about what makes a good pizza, I find that Scoreboard hit home on what it takes to make a fine one. From the delicious cheese that’s not too heavy, in its’ «golden brown» glory. To the crust that provides the complimenting foundation that does not go unnoticed in its’ impeccable texture. All of which may be easily overshadowed by the sauce that’ll make you question whether they laced it or not; And frankly, I don’t give a damn. Try it, experience it for yourself. What are you waiting for?
