ENT and Allergy Associates

I had a terrible experience at ENT and Allergy associates, I will never go back there and I would caution others against it too. I am very disappointed with the service and I think I was wrongfully charged for the services I received.
I went in for a general appointment because I had a strange allergic reaction and in general I had been meaning to go to an allergist, I have suffered from seasonal allergies my whole life and it has progressively worsened. I arrived on-​time for my appointment and waited nearly an hour before the doctor was able to see me. Apparently, the receptionist had wrongfully made me wait even though I went up and asked several times how long it would be. I met with Dr. Vassallo who apologized for the mistake. Dr. Vassallo was pleasant enough and suggested I take a series allergy skin prick tests. In the end he recommended immunotherapy and I decided to think about it…
Some time later I was shocked to receive a bill for $ 1,500!!! My insurance covered some of it, but I felt I was way overcharged. I called their offices to review and was rudely told that skin tests are very expensive and I was billed correctly. I researched how much prick test should cost and it should be a few hundred at max so nowhere near $ 1,500! I tried to dispute it through my insurance company, but there’s nothing else I can do, but pay the bill at this point.
It was my mistake to not ask right away how much it would cost, however, I didn’t expect to get charged an obscene amount. I will never go back here nor recommend this business to anyone.

Dr. Roheen Raithatha was great. Very patient, easy going, knowledgable and took his time with me which is a nice change from the typical doctor visit. The office is also gorgeous and brand new. Would definitely go back without hesitation.
